In the morning, I was moved to my hotels in Heathrow from Ibis to Jurys Inn. Why? Because I had already booked for 2 nights at Ibis through Expedia when I bought a round-trip ticket from Cathay Pacific, and this is not refundable.
午前中にヒースローの宿泊ホテルをイビスからジュリーズインに移動しました。キャセイで往復チケット購入したときエクスペディアですでにイビス2泊予約を入れていたうえに宿泊代が返金不可だったからです。
Check-in is acceptable from 2 pm, so I kept my luggage at the front desk. After that, I walked to the nearby Hatton Cross Station to take a tube to Piccadilly Circus.
チェックインは午後2時からだったのでかばんをフロントで預かってもらいました。その後近くのハットン・クロス駅まで歩いて地下鉄でピカデリー・サーカスまで向かいました。

I walked to the National Gallery.
ナショナル・ギャラリーまで歩いて行きました。
I had a lunch near Trafalgar Square, I walked up to Big Ben. There are two famous spots on the way, The 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister's office and the Horse Guards Parade where you can see the ceremony of
soldiers on horseback.
トラファルガル・スクエアーで昼食後ビッグベンまで歩きました。途中にはダウニング街10番地といわれる首相官邸とホース・ガーズ・パレードがあって馬に乗った兵の儀式を見ることができます。

Later, I took the Original Tour bus to St. Paul's Cathedral.
But it took more than 2 hours the
bus got caught in heavy traffic on the way.
その後ザ・オリジナル・ツアー観光バスに乗ってセント・ポール大聖堂まで行きましたがバスは途中でひどい交通渋滞に巻き込まれてしまい2時間以上かかりました。
Then, I took another bus to London Tower and Tower Bridge. But the time is past 5 o'clock, the tower has already closed. But I came up here with much effort, I walked the footbridge to see the tower and the city.
別のバスでロンドン塔とタワー・ブリッジに行きました。しかし時間は5時を過ぎていたのでロンドン塔はすでに閉まっていました。しかしせっかくここに来たのでロンドン塔と市内を眺めてみたいと思い歩道橋を歩いてみました。

I got off the tour bus near Big Ben. From there, I took the route 12 bus to Piccadilly Circus. I had a dinner at China Town and went back to hotel by tube and checked in.
観光バスをビッグベン近くで降りてそこから12番バスでピカデリー・サーカスへ。中華街で夕食後地下鉄でホテルまで戻ってきてチェックインしました。
