Day tripping to Bath on July 17/7月17日バース日帰り旅行

I took a train from Paddington to Bath at 11am. From my hotel to Paddington, I have to change a train once at Tower Gateway. How do I get there? Take the LDR light rail from Royal Victoria to Tower Gateway, then a little walk to Tower Hill on Circle Line. From Tower Hill, I took an eastbound train to Paddington. At Paddington, it is much easier to transfer from underground to the national rail because platforms are located side by side.
パディントンから朝11時発の列車でバースへ。ホテルからパディントンまで出るにはタワー・ゲートウェイ駅で一回乗り換えなければなりません。どのように行ったかというとロイヤル・ビクトリアからタワー・ゲートウェイまでLDRライトレールで出て、サークルライン（Circle Line）のタワー・ヒル駅まで多少歩いてそこから東回りの電車でパディントンへ。パディントンではホームが並行しているので地下鉄から国鉄へスムーズな乗り換えが可能です。

The train arrived at Bath Spa 12:29pm. After lunch, I visited the Roman Baths, the most famous tourist destination in Bath. Many people has already lined up at the entrance. So I have to wait for 15 minutes.
列車は午後12時29分にバース・スパ駅に着きました。昼食後バースで最も有名な観光地であるローマン・バースへ。入口にはすでにたくさんの人々が並んで列を作っていたので15分ほど待っていました。

Further go up to the North, I reached to the Circus. The feature of this building become a crescent.
さらに北に向かうとザ・サーカス（the Circus）にたどり着きます。ここの建物は三日月形となっているのが特徴です。

If you go straight to the Brock Street from here, there's the Royal Crescent, a 5 star hotel and the building is same structure as the Circus. A part of the building is open to the public, you can see the way of life of the nobles at that time.
ここからブロック・ストリートをまっすぐ行くと5っ星ホテルに指定されているロイヤル・クレセントホテル（the Royal Crescent）があって建物はザ・サーカスとまったく同じ構造です。建物の一部は一般公開されていて当時の貴族の生活様式を見ることができます。

I walked to Bath Abbey after I took a little break at a lawn.
芝生で少し休憩を取ってから歩いてバース寺院へ。

I arrived at the abbey about in a 15 minute walk.
歩いて15分ほどで寺院に着きました。

The abbey is located next to the Roman Baths, I saw many people has still lined up there.
ここはローマン・バースの隣にあるのでまだたくさんの人々が並んで列を作っているのを見ました。

I went back to the station to walk along the River Avon. But the river was very dirty as my thought.
エイボン川沿いを歩いて駅まで戻りました。しかし川は思っていたよりとても汚れていました。

I went back to London by train at 5:13pm. The train arrived at Paddington at about 6:50. I thought "I want to see planes near Hatton Cross Station" suddenly in the train, so I decided to go to Hatton Cross before returning hotel. After arrival, I took the District Line to Earl's Court, then transfer to the Piccadilly Line to Hatton Cross.
午後5時13分発の列車でロンドンまで戻りパディントンには6時50分ごろに到着。列車の中で急に”ハットン・クロス駅近くで飛行機が見たい”と思いホテルに戻る前にハットン・クロスへ。到着後ディストリクト線（District Line）でアールズ・コートへ向かいそこからピカデリー線（Piccadilly Line）に乗り換えてハットン・クロスへ。

ハットン・クロス・ラウンドアバウト（Hatton Cross Roundabout）。夕日がとてもきれいでした。

I went back to the hotel after watching planes till 9:30.
9時30分ごろまで飛行機を見てからホテルに戻りました。
