Unzen hell (雲仙地獄) on 6 June 2010

The Unzen hell is a place in the Unzen Hot Spring town in Unzen city, Nagasaki, and spreads out at the front of the Unzen Hot Spring town.

It's the most unforgettable experience of my plane journey. I took CX511 (B777-300) from Fukuoka to Taipei on economy class, on the New Year's Eve in 2004. Unfortunately, the plane was departing 40 minutes late due to snow removal which it had been snowing off since last night. However, despite of the New Year's Eve there is a quite few passengers!

それは私の飛行機旅行のなかでもっとも忘れられない経験です。2004年大晦日にCX511便(B777-300機)福岡→台北間エコノミークラスに乗りました。あいにくこの日は前夜から降り続いた雪による除雪作業のため定刻より40分遅れで出発。しかし客は大晦日にもかかわらずガラガラでした！

We had a chicken nanban set dinner, a famous local dish of Miyazaki prefecture./夕食は宮崎県の名物であるチキン南蛮定食にしました。

We had an autumn Miyazaki-style dinner, the main dishes are chicken pot stew and grilled fish./秋の宮崎名産ディナーにしました。メインデッシュは鶏鍋と焼き魚でした。

First, chicken pot stew was served with three appetizers on a small bowl./最初に鶏鍋が小鉢に入っている3種類の前菜とともに出される。

The third dish is Japanese mushroom, broccoli, konjac and strips of dried gourd boiled with soy sauce./三番目にはしいたけ、ブロッコリー、こんにゃく、かんぴょうの煮物が出てきた。

Kagoshima on 16 October 2012

After we left Sakurajima, we took Sakurajima ferry to Kagoshima city. We went to Senganen (仙厳園) and Ishin Furusato no Michi (維新ふるさとの道) near Kagoshima Chuo Station.

A big gingko tree in Arita, Saga

On 22 November 2011, we decided to take a drive to see a big gingko tree in Uchiyama area of Arita town, Saga.

Summary
A gingko tree about 40 meters high and about 1,000 years old.
It is in the site of former Guard House in the 17-19th centuries. The officers of Saga Domain were stationed in the house, and they had checked the transportation of stones and porcelains.

Korean Air KE788 (B777-200) to Seoul takeoff and Asiana Airlines OZ132 (A330-300) arrived from Seoul taxiing on Rwy 16R (06 May 2010)./大韓航空KE788便(B777-200)ソウル行き離陸とソウルからのアシアナ航空OZ132便(A330-300)到着便滑走路16Rをタキシング中(2010年5月6日)。

 





At the time of KE788 takeoff, OZ132 has arrived. They met each other. I was so glad to see at the moment./KE788便の着陸時にOZ132便が着陸しお互いにすれ違いました。その瞬間を見れてとても満足です。

On 11 November 2010, we dicided to take a drive to see a big gingko tree in Shimojo area of Oguni town, Kumamoto.

Once upon a time: Malaysia Airlines at Fukuoka Airport/在り日のマレーシア航空、福岡空港にて

In the past, Malaysia Airlines flew to Fukuoka three times per week. Once it was suspended in 2003 in spread of SARS, and was resumed in service in October 2004. However, it withdrew on 31 August 2006.

過去マレーシア航空は週3便福岡に飛来していました。同社は2003年のSARS流行で一旦運休となり2004月10月から再開しましたが2006年8月31日をもって撤退となりました。
