A day at FUK on 29 March, part 1/3月29日福岡空港での飛行機たち（その1）

Yesterday I went to take pictures of planes. It was a lovely sunny day, so I had decided to go photo shoots. I was amazing to see planes landing and takeoff. It should be noted that, EVA Air operated a special flight in addition to their schedule flight once per day.
昨日は飛行機を撮りに行きました。天気は快晴で撮影には絶好の日和でした。特にエバー航空が定期便をB777-300ER機に機材変更したうえにA321-200機による臨時便までが出ていて、さらに中国東方航空B737-800の新塗装機まで見れてとても収穫が多い一日でした。

At 11:17 am: An EVA Air flight BR106 from Taipei was landing on Rwy 34R.
午前11時17分：エバー航空の台北発BR106便が滑走路34Rに着陸。

Recently the airline will be flying the 777s to Fukuoka almost often, about once or twice a month. The aircraft registration number B-16705 was used for flight of the day. I've already seen her in last March.
この日のフライトは最近しばしば飛来するようになった77Wが入っていました。機体番号はB-16705で昨年3月にも見かけたことがあります。

At 11:46 am: A Thai Airways flight TG649 to Bangkok was taxi and takeoff.
午前11時46分：タイ航空のバンコク行きTG649便がタキシング中。

Unlike the day before, the company sent the first model of B777s on that day.
この日は前日までの77Wではなく773の初期型であるHS-TKAが入っていました。

Movements of an EVA flight BR 105 to Taipei from 12:33 to 12:42 pm.
午後12時33分から42分にかけてのエバー航空台北行きBR105便の動き。

This is the BR105 return flight to Taipei. Now it is ready for takeoff.
到着機はBR105便で折り返し台北へ。

Like other fleets of the B777s, the company logo in Chinese was gone in the aircraft body.
同機からも機体のロゴから中国語表記が消えていました。

A contrail during taxi and takeoff. It was a clear blue sky, so it looks more beautiful.
タキシング中に飛行機雲が。さわやかな青空だったのでとてもきれいに見れました。

The plane was taking off at 12:42 pm.
飛行機は午後12時42分に離陸。

After having lunch, I went back to the usual place to keep taking pictures. I was waiting for a plane of China Eastern Airlines repainted into the new livery. Then EVA Air's charter flight from Taipei was coming at 1:30 pm. It was an A321 painted with a star alliance special livery. I was so lucky to see this plane.
昼食後いつもの撮影場所に戻って中国東方航空の新塗装機が来るのを待っていました。そして午後1時30分にエバー航空の台北発チャーター便がA321機のスターアライアンス特別塗装機で飛来しているのが見れてとてもラッキーでした。

Seeing Thai Airways B777s again/タイ航空のB777機を再び見に行きました

Yesterday, I had decided to take pictures of a Thai Airways Boeing 777-300ER again. I had already got a picture of it last Saturday. But my mind still want to do this because the plane was taking off on 34R which is located on the opposite side of the runway.
昨日はタイ航空のB777-300ER機を再び撮りに行きました。実は先週土曜日（21日）にも行ったのですがそのときとは反対側の滑走路である34Rからの離陸だったのでカメラに収めたいと思って行きました。

The plane was taxi and takeoff.
飛行機は離陸に向けてタキシング中。

The feature of Thai's Boeing 777-300ER has two things:The Boeing 777 logo below the aircraft registration number is written as "BOEING 777" and the engine logo, manufactured by GE Aviation Corp, is putting into the manufacture's name instead of GE90. This is the exactly same as the British Airways owned fleets.
同社のB777-300ER機の特徴は2つあって、機体番号下のボーイング777のロゴが”BOEING777"と書かれていて、搭載しているGE社エンジンのロゴも通常のGE90ではなくB787機などと同じく”GE”となっています。これはブリティッシュ・エアウェイズ（英国航空）保有機も同様です。

There was no landing plane at that moment, the plane is soon to be taking off.
このとき着陸機がなかったので飛行機はすぐに離陸。

Awesome takeoff Thai Airways Boeing 777-300ER at Fukuoka/タイ国際航空B777-300ER機の離陸シーン、福岡空港にて

Today I went to take a picture of a Thai Airways Boeing 777-300s. It was a lovely sunny day, so I had decided to go photo shoots. The airline will be sending B787s to their Fukuoka route. However, the company will be made aircraft changes to A330s and B773s for a period of time, from 15 to 31 March. Today's flight is operated by B773s, I guess they will come to the original one. But I just realized that it was the latest version of B777-300ERs when I saw the plane is taking off. I was very lucky to see TG's 77Ws.
今日はタイ国際航空のB777-300機を撮りに行きました。天気は快晴で撮影には絶好の日和でした。某サイトを見ていると同社の福岡便は通常のB787機が今月15日から31日まで外れる代わりにA330およびB773機に機材変更していて、今日の機材がB773機となっていたので初期の機種かなと思いきや、離陸のときに見たエンジンがGE90だったので-ER機で飛来していたのはびっくり。TGの77Wはぜひカメラに収めておきたかったので本当にラッキーでした。

Harazuru Onsen hot springs, Asakura, Fukuoka

We stopped by Harazuru Onsen (原鶴温泉) hot springs in Asakura City before seeing Hinamaturi dolls in Chikugo-Yoshii. The spa town is spreading into the sandbank which is surrounded by Chikugo River (筑後川) and its floodway. It has 23 hotels and Japanese style inns (Ryokan) along the riverside. Among of them, the most popular hotels are Taisenkaku (泰泉閣) , Hotel Parens Onoya (ホテルパーレンス小野屋), Rokuhokan (六峰館) etc. There is a public bath called Himari-no-yu (ひまわりの湯), located out of the spa town along National Highway 386.

A specialty of the spa town is Ukai (鵜飼い) or a cormorant fishing is a traditional method of fishing, now become a part of tourism. How to catch Ayu fish in the river? It looks like this. A fisherman ride to the ship, and he is manipulating several birds to catch it. Ukai is usually held during the summer time, from mid-May to mid-October. 

Plane spotting:The Sakura Jinbei Jet takeoff at Fukuoka/福岡空港を離陸するさくらジンベエジェット

Following the EVA Air's bread-new B777s, I was successfully take a picture of the Sakura Jinbei Jet by Japan Trans ocean Air (JTA), a sister company of Japan Airlines (JAL). The aircraft registration number JA8992 is a special livery which is collaborated with the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. It's a lovely plane, drawing with a pretty red whale shark in a cheery-blossomed color. Currently the airline has been owned two fleets, the first one is a blue male shark called Jinta. And the one is imaged a girl thing to be applied to this fleet. It should be noted that, a design of Kanhi Zakura, a kind of cheery blossoms blooming from January to February in Okinawa Prefecture is putting into Jinbei's head on the nose.
エバー航空B777最新機の後に今度は日本トランスオーシャン航空（JTA）の特別塗装機であるさくらジンべエジェット（機体番号：JA8992）の捕獲に成功しました。同社は沖縄美ら海水族館と協賛したジンベエジェットを2機保有していて、1機目は青色でオスのジンタで当機は2機目です。機体には桜色の可愛らしいジンベエザメを描いていて鼻の部分のジンベエの頭には1月から2月にかけて沖縄で咲き誇るカンヒザクラが入っています。

I caught EVA Air's brand new Boeing 777-300ER at Fukuoka/エバー航空のB777-300ER最新鋭を捕獲しました！

Yesterday, I went to take pictures of EVA Air's B777s. It was rain in the morning, but has stopped suddenly. So I had decided to go photo shoots. Unfortunately a flight BR106 from Taipei has already arrived, I have only taken the BR105 return flight. I can't wait to see the plane because they sent the latest version of its B777s equipped with WiFi.
昨日はエバー航空のB777機を撮りに行きました。朝から降っていた雨が止んだので急遽撮影に行くことに。残念ながら台北からのBR106便はすでに到着していたので折り返しのBR105便のみとなりましたが公式HPではWiFi装備の最新鋭が飛来するとのことで楽しみに待っていました。

The plane was coming at 12:41 pm. The aircraft registration number B-16719 was used for flight of the day. It's one of the newest model which has been received in May 2014, and is mainly used for their North American routes, such as New York/JFK, Los Angeles, San Fransisco etc.
飛行機は午後12時41分にやってきました。機体番号はB-16719でした。当機は2014年5月に受領したばかりの最新型のうち1機で主にニューヨーク、ロスアンゼルス、サンフランシスコなどの北米線で使用されています。

An All Nippon Airways (ANA) plane was landing while waiting for takeoff.
離陸待ちの間に全日空機が着陸。

The plane was taking off at 12:48 pm.
飛行機は午後12時48分に離陸。

Strolling around Chikugo Yoshii's old town

Chikugo Yoshii (筑後吉井) is a district in Ukiha City (うきは市, -shi), Fukuoka. It is a quite small town, and is known for its traditional domestic architecture of Japan which are made of white wall.

The Shirakabe-dori (白壁通り) Street is a row of traditional buildings along a town street. It is still keeping old buildings in the town that makes a beautiful scenery.

A view of zaigo (在郷町, -machi) or merchant quarters in central Yoshii. The town was highly developed as a post town on the old Bungo Highway (豊後街道) connecting between Kurume, a castle town and Hita, tenryo (天領) or a territory where was directly controlled by the Edo shogunate.

Seeing Hinamatsuri (ひな祭り) dolls festival in Chikugo Yoshii, Fukuoka

Yesterday, we had decided to take a drive to Chikugo Yoshii (筑後吉井) to see Hinamatsuri dolls festival, a special day in Japan. Hinamatsuri is celebrated each year on March 3.

We visited to Kagamida Yashiki (鏡田屋敷) Samurai Residence, a venue which the doll festival is held. We parked a car at tourist information center, and take a short walk to the place. We walked a very narrow street along a row of traditional Japanese houses in this street, and turned right near the Susanoo Shrine. While looking at a small waterway to the left, we finally arrived there.

Seven-tiered Hina doll set at the Fusuma room. You'll see the difference between the Kyoto (Kansai) on the left one and the Edo (Kanto) on the right one. Both ones have different the placement orders of the dolls from left to right, but the order of the dolls per level are the same.
