The latest Kazariyama characters at Kushida Shrine

Yesterday, I went to Kushida Shrine ⛩to see the Yamakasa race float. As you probably know, the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival is annually held in Fukuoka every July but this year it was canceled due to COVID-19.

The only thing I can only see this year is the Kazariyama (飾り山) decorating float that holds the host in the shrine. The main characters of Kazariyama ornament changed to new ones, the one is the honor of Kato Kiyomasa, a Japanese daimyo of the Azuchi-Momoyama and Edo periods. It is the story that tells Kiyomasa hunted tigers🐯 during the Seven-Year (Imjin) War between 1592 and 1598 against the Korean Josen.
The other is Momotaro, a popular hero of Japanese folklore. I forgot to take a picture of him. Sorry.
