On 14 June 2006, Austrian Airlines B767-300 wing let equipment flew to Fukuoka on charter. Perhaps it was associated with the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Finally, we arrived at Huis Ten Bosch at about 5:15pm, so we got two discount tickets (2,800yen per person).

After we left Hirado Dutch Trading House, we went to Hirado Catholic Church and a view with both temples and a church. It takes both 15 minutes on foot.

Hirado Dutch Trading House (平戸オランダ商館)
After we left Okawachiyama, we went to Hirado Dutch Trading House.
History
In 1609, Dutch Trading Ships first entered Hirado Port and their Trading House was built. In 1641, Hirado Dutch Trading House razed, activities transferred to Dejima in Nagasaki. In September 2011, this site was restored.

Day tripping to Imari, Hirado and Huis Ten Bosch
On 13 December, we were decided to take a drive to Imari, Hirado and Huis Ten Bosch. We had fine weather on that day. First, we were visited to Okawachiyama (大川内山) in Imari, 'The Village of the Secret Kilns', used to be the home of the Nabeshima clan kilns. Next, we went to Hirado. We were visited to main sightseeing spots; Hirado Dutch Trading House (平戸オランダ商館), Hirado Catholic Church (平戸カトリック教会), A view with both temples and a church (寺院と教会の見える光景) and Tabira Catholic Church (カトリック田平教会). Finally, we went to Huis Ten Bosch to see the Christmas illuminations.

Imamura Catholic Church (今村カトリック教会), Tachiarai, Fukuoka
After we saw autumn colours in Akizuki, we went to Imamura Catholic Church.
History: Imamura Catholic Church was built in 1913, although there have been hidden Christians in the area since the 16th century.
