Strolling around Incheon Chinatown/仁川中華街周辺をブラ歩き

After end of the shooting pictures of planes, I want to have a lunch at Incheon Chinatown by bus. Chinatown is located on the steep hills across the road opposite the Incheon Railway Station.
飛行機撮影終了後バスで仁川中華街へ。中華街は仁川駅向かい側の道路を隔てた急な丘にあります。

Walking a steep hill road from the decorated entrance gate (see the photo above) facing the railway station for about 10 minutes, you'll see the bustling street lined with many restaurants and souvenir shops along the street.
駅向かいの飾り門（写真上）から急な坂道を10分ほど歩くとレストランやお土産店などがたくさん立ち並ぶにぎやかな通りが見えてきます。

I don't have anything to eat from breakfast, I got so hungry. I found a large restaurant on the street corner for lunch. I ordered fried rice and a steamed bun without taste. To the tell truth, I want to have meat dumplings. But the menu was written as shrimp dumplings, I really don't want to eat it. So I ordered a steamed bun instead of dumplings, but it was no taste at all. Only fried rice was delicious. It's a typical Korean style fried rice served with black bean sauce on rice. Spread sauce and mix it up while eating.
朝ごはん食べてから何も食べていなかったのでとてもお腹が減っていて早速通り角にある大きなレストランに入ることに。焼き飯と味なし薄皮の饅頭を注文。本当は餃子を注文したかったんですがメニューを見るとえび餃子と書いていた（おそらく肉餃子と間違えていたと思う）のでやめて饅頭にしましたが味なしなのでまったくおいしくなく本当に失敗でした。焼き飯だけはおいしかったです。典型的な韓国の焼き飯は黒あんが添えてあって混ぜながら食べます。

After having lunch, I went to Jayu (freedom) Park at the top of a small hill. This is Korea's first Western-style park opened around 1889 by Afanasy Seredin-Sabatin, a Russian designer. There is a statue of Douglas MacArthur, the UN commander-in-chief at that time and The Korea - USA Centennial Monument on the east side of the park. The former was built in 1957 in order to commemorate the Battle of Incheon and the latter was for the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Korea and the United States in 1982.
昼食後小高い丘の上にある自由公園へ。この公園はAfanasy Seredin-Sabatinと呼ばれるロシア人設計者によって1889年ごろ開園した韓国初の西洋式公園です。園内の東側には当時国連の総指揮官であったダグラス・マッカーサーの銅像と韓米修交100周年記念塔があります。前者は1957年の仁川上陸作戦を、後者は1982年の韓米修交100周年を記念するため建てられたものです。

There's an observatory near the MacArthur statue, you can see a great view of the Port of Incheon and the city. 
マッカーサー像の近くには展望台があって仁川港と市内を一望できます。

A distant view of the Songdo International City, a free economic zone that was made behind the infrastructure of Incheon International Airport. The city is connected with the airport by Incheon Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 21.38 meters.
展望台からの松島（ソンド）国際都市の眺めです。仁川国際空港のインフラを背後に作られた国際都市です。空港とは全長21.38mの斜張橋である仁川大橋で接続しています。

A street art of the story of the three kingdoms in China is painting in the China Town-ro 51beon-gil. The unique murals draw the history graph of the three kingdoms in detail, many people stopped and take a closer look at them more intersting.
チャイナタウン51番街と呼ばれる通りには三国志の歴史を詳細に描いたユニークなストリートアートがあって通り行く人々が立ち止まって興味深く見ています。

I saw the statue of Confucius standing at stone steps near the mural paintings.

I went back to Incheon Station at 4:30, two hours before boarding my flight. I must be returned to the airport in a hurry. I found a taxi stand at the station. I don't have enough time to go to the airport, so I asked the driver to go through the Incheon Bridge. He said "You must pay a toll fee of the bridge, otherwise I'll take 6000 won in advance". After crossing the bridge, we got into the Airport Expressway. I arrived at the airport at 5:20. I have to go to the luggage deposit, and pick up my luggage first. It was too crowded, therefore I must keep waiting for a while in a queue. It was my turn after a few minutes. Unfortunately I lost the luggage tag somewhere, so I asked a man "How to pick up my luggage here?". Then he replied me back "Show me your passport please". I showed my passport to him, and then he was looking for a name list. He finally found out my luggage from a storage. I picked it up without any problem. The check-in times of my flight will be ended, I have to go Korean Air check-in counter in a hurry.
仁川駅に戻ってきたのが4時半。2時間後にフライトが出発するので急いで空港へ戻らなければなりません。駅にあるタクシー乗り場を見つけて一路空港へ。タクシーの運転手に「時間がないので仁川大橋経由で行ってくれ」とお願いすると「通行料として6000ウオンを前もって払ってほしい」とのこと。橋を渡って空港高速に入り5時20分に空港へ到着。まず最初に荷物保管所に行って預けているかばんを引き取らなければなりません。そこはとても混みあっていてしばらくの間待っておかなければなりません。数分してからようやく自分の番に。あいにくにもどこかで荷物札をなくしてしまって係員に「どのようにしてかばんを引き取ればよいか」と尋ね「旅券を見せてください」とのこと。係員に旅券を見せると名簿を調べてくれて、倉庫にある荷物を見つけて無事引き取ることができました。チェックイン終了時刻が迫っていたのであわてて大韓航空のチェックインカウンターへ。
