We've visited Mekari Park (和布刈公園) again

After leaving Riverwalk Kitakyushu, we headed out to Moji (門司), which is our final destination. The weather forecast says it will be rain from the evening, so we have to go there within a clear sky. We had decided to go Mekari Park first, then go to Mojiko Retro Town. 

We've already visited there once in June. It had rained heavily at that time, therefore we waited in the car until the rain stops.

As usual, we stopped a car at a parking and took a picture of the port district panorama from here.

We got a nice viewpoint near the Kanmonkyo Bridge. Of course, I took beautiful pictures of the bridge (see the photo below), the Mojiko area (in the center picture) and the downtown Shimonoseki (the bottom of the photo).

A close-up view of the picture scroll of the battle of Genpei (源平壇ノ浦合戦絵巻). This time I tried to take a picture of it from the opposite side.

 After that, we headed out to Mojiko Retro Town.
