Eating in Georgetown/ジョージタウンでの食事

Here, I'll show what did I ate and drink during my stay in Georgetown/Penang.
ここではジョージタウン（ペナン）滞在中に食べたり飲んだりしたものをUPします。

Hainanese chicken rice
海南風チキンライス

I found a small cafe called Kafe Fountain at Carnarvon Street when I went back to the hotel from Komtar. I ordered Hainanese chicken rice. You'll know, it's a famous dish in Singapore. It's not commonly seen in Japan, so I just want to eat it. Putting chicken and shredded green onion on top of rice as much as you like. Great taste and I love it. The guy spoke to me in broken Japanese, such as "Would like to have some drink?", "Thank you" etc.
自転車でコムター（Komtar）からホテルに戻る途中のカーナーボン・ストリートにKafe Fountainという小さなカフェを見つけて入ってみました。シンガポールでおなじみの海南風チキンライスは日本ではほとんど見かけないので一度食べてみたかったので注文。チキンと細切りのねぎを好きなだけご飯の上にかけて食べます。あっさりとした味で意外とおいかったです。店員さんも片言の日本語で話しかけてくれました。

I went to the cafe about three times. The cafe is located on the first floor of Armenian Suite, so I can understand it easily. The staff is very friendly. I ordered iced milk tea (see the photo above) and waffle topped with ice cream and grilled banana (see below). It's a freshly baked waffle with maple syrup, and put pancake toppings on top of it. Eat it while cutting with a fork and knife. It was very delicious, so I want to eat it again.
滞在中ここの店に3回ほど行きました。店は宿泊したアルメニアンスイートの1階にあるのでとても分かりやすくて店員さんも親切です。写真は3日目の昼にいただいたアイスミルクティー（写真上）とアイスクリームと焼きバナナをトッピングしたワッフル（下）。焼きたてのワッフルにメイプルシロップがかけていてトッピングしたものを乗せてフォークとナイフで切りながら食べます。とてもおいしかったのでまた食べてみたいです。

This is a cheese cake and caffe mocha. I ate them after dinner in the evening of the last day. They gave me a bottle of water with eating.
最終日の夕食後に食べたチーズケーキとカフェ・モカ。食事の際瓶に入ったお水をくれてとても親切でした。

I ordered mango lassi for drink.
ドリンクはマンゴーラッシーを注文。

As usual, mango salad comes first.
まず最初にマンゴーサラダが出てきます。

Chicken Tandoori wrap with fries as a main dish. They serve fried sweet potatoes instead of french fries.
メインはタンドリーチキンラップ(巻物）のフライドポテト添え。ポテトはジャガイモではなくサツマイモでした。
