Day 1, take a connecting flight to Incheon, part 1/1日目ひとまず仁川へ（その1）

On first day, I flew to Seoul Incheon by Korean Air flight KE788 at 10:30am. Same as the last time, I have to go Seoul to make connections because I bought an upgradeable economy ticket from Incheon to Penang. This time, I wanted to use my Asia Miles redeem as an upgrade award earned my travel to the UK last summer. I was upgraded to premium economy class of the return flight from Hong Kong.
初日は10：30発大韓航空KE788便でソウル仁川へ向かいました。仁川発ペナン行きキャセイパシフィック航空券を購入したので前回と同様仁川まで出なければなりません。昨年のイギリス旅行で貯めたアジアマイルを今回のアップグレード特典として使いたかったからです。ちなみにアップグレード可能な航空券だったので帰りの香港発をプレミアム・エコノミー席にアップグレードしました。

I arrived at the airport 9:15am. It was 75 minutes before departure. This time, the procedure of check-in was done at the counter because an online check-in is not available on my flight due to their website upgrade on 22 September. It already made a long queue for the economy class perhaps many tourists go to Europe in transit. It's my turn after waiting for 10 minutes. I showed a Cathay Pacific E ticket to the staff at check-in and asked the checked through baggage to Hong Kong. He said "We'll send your baggage to Hong Kong" and gave me a baggage tag.
出発の75分前である朝9時15分に空港へ到着。今回のチェックインは9月22日の同社ホームページ更新で僕のフライトだとHPからできないのでチェックインカウンターでしました。乗り継ぎでヨーロッパ方面に向かうツアー客が多かったせいかエコノミーのカウンターはすでに長蛇の列ができていました。10分ほど待ってから僕の番に。チェックインの際係員にキャセイのEチケットを見せて荷物を香港までスルーしてもらえないかと尋ねると可能だということ。そして香港までの荷物タグをもらいました。

It didn't take a long time for the security check and immigration, so I went to the gate within 15 minutes!
保安検査と出国手続きに時間が長くかからず済んだので15分以内でゲートに到着！

この飛行機に乗って一路仁川に向かいます。
