Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei review/エバーグリーンローレルホテル台北滞在記

This is a review of the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei during my stay in April.
去る4月のエバーグリーンローレルホテル台北（長栄桂冠酒店）の滞在記です。

== Introduction/初めに ==
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, from April 22 to 24. I've already been to Taipei three times, but when looking at the various reviews that of a good reputation of this hotel, so I'd like to stay at once. I visited a Japanese version of Expedia in February, they offered great deals, and the price is a total of 32,120 yen (about 261,683 USD as of June 30, 2015) for two nights. I booked immediately because I think it's absolutely cheapest offers.
4月22日から24日までの3日間滞在しました。今まで台北には3回行ったのですが各種口コミを見ているとここのホテルの評判がよいとのことで一度は泊まって見たいと思い、たまたま2月にExpedia（エクスペディア）で2泊計32,120円という特割セールがあったので早速予約を入れました。

==Rooms/部屋==
I stayed at the deluxe room on the top floor which is overlooking the downtown Taipei. The room is more spacious, it's wider than I thought. It was a good point that there are two pillows provided to a king-size bed. I was easy to sleep in the bed.
泊まった部屋は最上階の市内が一望できるデラックスルームで、広くてとても快適に過ごせました。特に良かった点はキングサイズベッド1台に2つの枕があるので眠りやすかったです。

A bathroom wash basin. It's a uniquely made wash basin that is of gold-plate.
バスルームの洗面台は金メッキとなっていてとてもユニークです。

They put a welcome fruit in my room, so I can eat it freely at anytime. It should be noted that, snacks such as nuts and chocolate and mini-bar is available at an additional cost.
部屋にはウエルカムフルーツが置いていて、自由に食べることができます。なおナッツやチョコレートなどのスナック類やミニバーは有料です。

部屋から眺める台北101はこんな感じです。建物自体左端に堂々と聳え立っていますが、残念ながら塔の半分しか見えません。

部屋からの眺めです。周辺には商業ビル群がずらりと建ち並んでいて、真ん中には松江路（ソンジャンル）の大通りが見えます。

==Hotel lobby/ホテルロビー==
The lobby is small, but it has sofas and tables where there are placed in the little space. There is a player piano in the middle that it has been automatically play the number of old masterpieces, you'll heal the fatigue of your journey. The Laurel Lounge and Cafe Laurel is located next to it. They have some snacks such as sandwiches and cakes, and drinks e.g. coffee, English tea, soft drinks etc..
ロビーはこじんまりしていてところ狭しにソファとテーブルが置かれています。また中央には演奏ピアノがあって懐かしい名曲の数々が自動的に演奏されていて旅の疲れを癒してくれます。隣にはローレルラウンジとカフェローレルがあってコーヒー、紅茶、ソフトドリンクなどの飲み物類やサンドイッチやケーキなどの軽食類があります。

 ==Breakfast/朝食==
The venue is a restaurant called cafe coral located on the second floor. They have a variety of international food, such as Western, Japanese, Chinese etc.. There's also some of the local specialties, e.g. minced pork on rice. I was very satisfied with their menu.
会場は2階にあるカフェコーラルというレストランです。和洋中品数豊富に取り揃えていて魯肉飯（ルーローハン）などの台湾料理もあって大満足でした。

==Staff/スタッフ== 
Friendly staff, and of course all of them speak fluent English. Some staff can speak Japanese. At the time of check-out, I met a girl who knows Japanese very well, so I was able to check out more smoothly.
スタッフは全般的に親切で、英語堪能な方ばかりで中には日本語を話せる方もいます。チェックアウトの際若い女性スタッフは日本語堪能な方だったのでスムーズにやり取りできました。

==Conclusion/最後に==
Although it's the first time to book this hotel, I was very happy to stay there. I booked in the cheapest deal through Expedia. When I went to there, they gave me the nicest room on the top floor where can see great views of Taipei. The room was without bathtub, but I'm not concerned about this. It was a pleasant stay because the cleaning was in good condition. I'd like to stay again when I'm going to Taipei next time.
今回初めて宿泊してみましたが、各種口コミの評判どおり全般的に大満足でした。エクスペディアから最も安いプランで予約したのですがいざ現地に行ってみると最上階の眺めの良い部屋に泊まれてよかったです。部屋はバスタブなしでしたがそれはさほど気にしませんでした。清掃も行き届いていたのでとても快適に過ごせました。また台北行ったときとはぜひ泊まってみたいです。
