Airline comparison: Asiana Airlines vs Korean Air/アシアナ航空と大韓航空の比較

Today I'd like to say what is a comparison of in-flight services of two Korean flag carriers, Korean Air (KE) and Asiana Airlines (OZ). I was flying from Fukuoka to Seoul twice in the past six months, I took a Korean Air in last October and an Asiana Airlines in this April.

今日は韓国フラッグキャリアの2社である大韓航空（KE）とアシアナ航空（OZ）の機内サービスの比較したものを述べたいと思います。ここ6ヶ月の間に福岡ー仁川便を2回利用していて昨年10月は大韓航空で、今年4月はアシアナ航空に乗りました。

In-flight/機内

Meal/食事
This section only provides cold meals, such as sandwiches because of the short-range flight. I prefer the serving of Asiana plane food is more beautiful and clean, it put them together and packed with a plastic cover on top.
For medium and long-haul flights, they'll offer typical Korean food e.g. bibimbap. In addition, Asiana is also serving to ssambap, which means rice wrapped in leaves for one of meal choice.
この区間は短距離なのでサンドイッチなどのコールドミールしか提供されませんが、どちらかといえばアシアナの機内食のほうがひとつにまとめられていて彩りよく出されています。
中長距離便に関して言えば大韓航空だとビビンバ、アシアナ航空だとビビンバやサムパブ（葉で巻いたご飯）など代表的な韓国料理が出されています。

Entertainment/エンターテイメント
Both have *AVOD entertainment systems that are available a wide selection of programs such as films, music etc. I really enjoyed it. Features of the Korean flag carriers are a lot of Korean wave contents, such as the latest Korean dramas, movies and K-pop. You'll be get excited if you're Korean wave lover!
ともに*オンデマンドエンターテイメントシステムを装備していて、映画や音楽など多様なプログラムがあって退屈することなく楽しめます。韓国系の特徴は最新の韓流ドラマ、映画やK-popなど韓流コンテンツがたくさんあって、韓流好きな人にはおすすめです。

Note: *...These entertainment systems are not equipped for some B737-900s of Korean Air.
注：*...大韓航空B737-900の一部機材には機内エンターテイメントシステムが装備されていません。  

Flight attendants/機内乗務員
Great people, friendly and excellent service. I think the staff of Asiana is very polite and friendly because they're the five time winner of the Airline of the Year between 2009 and 2012.
乗務員の方々はとても親切丁寧です。むしろエアライン・オブ・ザ・イヤーを2009年から12年まで5回受賞しているアシアナ航空スタッフのほうがきめ細やかで親切な感じがします。

Frequent flyer programs/マイル

Both have its own frequent flyer programs. While Korean Air is a member of Sky Team, but Asiana Airlines join to Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance. 
2社とも独自のマイレージプログラムを運営していて、大韓航空はスカイチームメンバーですがアシアナ航空は世界最大の航空連合であるスターアライアンスに加盟しています。

Conclusion/結論

Because transit at Incheon is very convenient and close from Fukuoka so that it is quite useful, such as Japanese tourists go to Europe and Hawaii on a holiday, Westerners on the way go back home etc. Also, the price is cheaper. That's why many passengers would choose via Incheon.
Furthermore Incheon International Airport, the home of KE and OZ, has a good reputation as the world's best airport, such as transit and facilities.
福岡からだと仁川へ出て乗り継ぎするほうが近くて便利なので、ヨーロッパやハワイなどへ向かう安いツ アー客や里帰りする欧米人などにかなり利用されています。それに料金が安いことが選択股のひとつではないでしょうか。さらにハブである仁川空港は乗り継ぎや施設面も充実しており世界最高の空港として高い評価を受けています。

Boarding on the plane:An Asiana Airlines flight OZ136 on 27 April 2015, part 2/2015年4月27日アシアナ航空OZ136便搭乗記（その2）

A flight report on OZ136 from Seoul Incheon to Fukuoka. This is the last flight on this travel.
仁川ー福岡間のOZ136便搭乗記です。今回の旅行で最後のフライトです。

Equipment is A321-200, it was nothing going to change their operational fleet. Taking Asiana Airlines is in a long time, since July 2013. At that time, it was used as a connecting flight when I went to London with Cathay Pacific of Incheon ticketing.
機材は予定通りA321-200機でした。アシアナ航空に乗るのは2013年7月以来久々でそのときは仁川発券のキャセイパシフィック航空でロンドンまで行ったときに接続便として利用しました。

Asiana Airlines welcomes you aboard. In the past, there was no in-flight entertainment system in this plane, so I was very disappointed when I was taking.  But now they have been fully equipped with its own entertainment system, I'll never be bored during the flight.
アシアナ航空のウエルカムスクリーン。以前A321機はエンターテイメントシステムが装備されていなかったので乗ったときがっかりしましたが、現在ではきちんと装備されていて快適な空の旅を楽しむことができます。

The plane left on time, at 5 pm. A runway change was done on the south side of 33R about one hour before departure on this day. This is a rare case, I only had one time when I took a Singapore Airlines flight from Fukuoka four years ago. I might have got it by chance this time because of the wind's direction. During taxi, there was a American airlines plane to Dallas in front of us, and it was ahead taking off. Finally, it was taking off from this runway at 5:08 pm.
飛行機は定刻通り午後5時に出発。この日は出発1時間前ごろから滑走路を南側の33Rに切り替え。そのようなケースに遭遇したのは本当にまれで、4年前福岡からシンガポール航空乗った時に一度あっただけですが、たまたま今回風向きで当たってしまったのかもしれません。タキシング中ちょうど前にはダラス行きのアメリカン航空機がいて先に離陸しました。そして午後5時08分には当滑走路から離陸。

When boarding Asiana Airlines every time, I was very impressed that all crews are bowed deeply to their passengers. I think that it reflects the Korean society that Confucianism is still remains deeply. Try taking the airline called flag carrier, I'll see the characteristics of the country such as the way of thinking and behavior.
I choose a 17D seat of the right aisle. There are about 60 to 70% of passengers. There were two middle-aged Japanese women sitting next to me. They were talking too loud before takeoff, so I got really annoyed during the flight. Though the rear side still have some vacant seats, I was thinking to move there. But I gave them up because of only one hour flight.

アシアナに搭乗したとき毎回感動するのはすべての乗務員が乗客に対して深く頭を下げてあいさつすることです。儒教思想が未だに深く残っている韓国社会を反映していると思います。フラッグキャリアと呼ばれる航空会社に乗ってみるとその国のお国柄（考えや行動など）がはっきりと見えてきます。
座席は右通路側の17Dを選択。機内は60-70%の乗客でした。横には中年女性の2人組が座っていて離陸前からおしゃべりするので本当に耳障りで迷惑でした。後ろのほうはかなり空席が目立っていたので移ろうかなと思いましたが、わずか1時間のフライトなのでやめました。

アシアナの機内エンターテイメントシステムであるAsiana Entertainmentのウエルカムスクリーン。言語は日本語、韓国語、英語、中国語の4カ国語に対応しています。

I made a playlist of my favorite classical music Rigoletto La Donna è Mobile in flight.
飛行中お気に入りのクラシック曲リゴレット「女心の歌」を再生リストに入れて聞きました。

Meal. Because of the short-haul flight, sandwich and mineral water are only served. It's also served with salad as a side dish.
機内食。短距離区間なのでサンドイッチとミネラルウォーターのみ出されました。サイドディッシュとしてサラダを添えています。

After passing through to the Tsushima Island, the plane will arrive at Fukuoka soon.
対馬を通過後飛行機はまもなく福岡に到着する予定です。

There's no time to relax and enjoy listening to music, the plane was ready for landing. They made announcements for entertainment services ending, and please cooperate the UNICEF fund-raising. I gave some spotted won. Later they had shown the 25th anniversary related ceremony video of flying its Korea - Japan routes this year. And it was landed on Rwy 16R at 6:24 pm. I really felt that Korea is the closest country to Japan when arrived at home.
音楽を聴いてリラックスしている時間もなく飛行機は着陸態勢へ入り、エンターテイメント終了およびユニセフ募金のアナウンス。残っているウオンのうち汚れているものを募金。その後今年同社の日韓線就航25周年記念関連式典ビデオが上映されました。そして午後6時24分に滑走路16Rへ着陸。降り立ってすぐに韓国って本当に近い国だなと痛感しました。

Next to the arrival gate, there is a Delta Airlines plane to Honolulu went back to the terminal after finished refueling.
到着ゲートの隣にはハワイ・ホノルル行きのデルタ航空機が給油を終えてターミナルへ戻ってきました。

I just answered simple questions from customs officer and ended immediately. As part of the Tourism Nation policy of the Japanese Government has been promoting in recent years, I think they tried to simplify their work contents. 
税関申告では簡単な質問に答えただけですぐに終了しました。近年政府が促進している観光立国政策の一環として業務内容の簡素化を図ったと思います。

It all been done for my 10 days travel.

Boarding on the plane:An Asiana Airlines flight OZ136 on 27 April 2015, part 1/2015年4月27日アシアナ航空OZ136便搭乗記（その1）

A flight report on OZ136 from Seoul Incheon to Fukuoka. This is the last flight on this travel.
仁川ー福岡間のOZ136便搭乗記です。今回の旅行で最後のフライトです。

I had a wonderful lunch at China Town and went back to the airport by taxi. The time is 3:30 pm, it's 90 minutes before departure. I had already done a check-in, I was immediately going toward the boarding gate after taking a security procedure and finished the immigration.
中華街で昼食を済ませ、タクシーで空港へ戻ってきて出発1時間半前の午後3時30分に着きました。すでにチェックインを済ませていたのですぐに保安検査を受け出国審査を終えて搭乗ゲートのほうへ向かいました。

While going to the gate, I was stopped at the Korean Traditional Cultural Experience Center. They performed us Pansori, a court music. Many passengers have a rest and enjoy it.
ゲートに向かう途中韓国伝統文化体験館内の常設ステージではちょうどパンソリの公演が行われていて、大勢の乗客たちが足を止めて鑑賞していました。

I was looking around the terminal whether there are any planes are stopping. There are two planes of a Delta Airlines and a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines at concourse just the opposite of main terminal. A KLM flight from Amsterdam arrived earlier, then a Delta Airlines flight from Seattle was landing and arriving at the next gate.
何か止まっている飛行機がないかとターミナルを見渡すと反対側のコンコースにはデルタ航空とKLMオランダ航空の2機が仲良くスポットインしていました。先にアムステルダムからのKLMが到着し、その後デルタ航空のシアトル便が隣のゲートにスポットインしています。

I take the plane to returning home.
この飛行機に乗って帰国の途へ。

Lunch at Incheon China Town/仁川中華街で昼食

My long holiday to Taiwan and Seoul finally end today.  It can be say that it is a long trip, getting around only two countries in 10 days! After finishing my breakfast, I was relaxed in my room till 11 am. After checking out, I moved to the Gimpo Airport International Terminal which is directly opposite of the hotel. I was waiting for a bus to Incheon Airport. Because of traffic jam, it took about 20 minutes to come. I got a before 12pm bus, and it took me about 30 minutes to the airport. At Incheon Airport, check-in counters of an Asiana Airlines are located at the endmost, so I must take a little walk from the bus. At the check-in counter for economy class, so-called travel class, was very crowded with other passengers, therefore it took my turn over 20 minutes. The time is 12:45 in the afternoon. I still have a time to take my flight at 5 pm, so I had decided to go to China Town by bus. The journey takes about an hour, but it's possible to take a taxi to come back in about 30 minutes by way of the Incheon Grand Bridge.
10日間の長い旅行もいよいよ今日で終わり。朝食を済ませ午前11時ごろまで部屋でゆっくりしていました。チェックアウト後真向かいの金浦空港国際線ターミナルへ移動し、仁川空港行きのバスを待っていたのですが交通渋滞のせいか来るまでに20分ほどかかりました。正午前のバスに乗り込みおよそ30分ほどで到着。搭乗するアシアナ航空のカウンターは一番端っこなのでバスを降りてから多少歩かなければなりません。トラベルクラスとも呼ばれるエコノミークラスのカウンターはとても混み合っていて自分の番になるまで20分ほどかかりました。時刻は午後12時45分。まだこの時間だと仁川の中華街に行っても5時発のフライトに間に合うと思い306番バスで中華街に行くことに。バスだと1時間ほどかかりますが、帰りはタクシーに乗って仁川大橋を通れば30分ほどで戻ってくることが可能です。

I took an 1 pm bus to China Town. Passing the Dong Incheon station after a while, you'll see the Jungdong Post Office. It's a compromise between East and West of the Renaissance style building which was built in 1924 of the Japanese colonial era.
1時過ぎのバスで一路中華街へ。東仁川駅を過ぎてしばらくすると車窓左手には仁川中洞（チュンドン）郵便局が見えてきます。日本植民地時代の1924年に建てられた和洋折衷のルネッサンス様式建物です。

I got off from a bus at Incheon Station and went up the hill road, and finally I got into China Town. Visiting China Town is a long time, since last October. It was weekday, so I couldn't see many tourists there.
仁川駅でバスを降りて早速中華街へ。ここを訪れたのは昨年10月以来久々です。この日は平日ということもあって人影はまばらでした。

This time I went to Cheong-gwan, one of the three biggest restaurant standing in the middle.
今回入ったところは3大レストランのうち真ん中に聳え立つ清館へ。

 I ordered fried rice and deep fried dumplings. Last time I want to have meat dumplings when entering restaurant nearby. But the menu was written as shrimp dumplings, I really don't want to eat it. So I ordered a steamed bun instead of dumplings, but it was no taste at all. 
焼き飯と揚げ餃子を注文。前回近くの店に入ったとき餃子を注文したくてメニューをよく見るとえび餃子と書いていた（おそらく肉餃子と間違えていたと思う）のでやめて饅頭にしましたが味なしなので まったくおいしくなく本当に失敗でした。

First coming out several side dishes, such as pickles. It's the most common way to serve with your meal. Unlike typical Chinese restaurants in Korea, they don't have kimchi as a side dish.
まず最初に定番であるたくあんなどのサイドディッシュが出てきます。韓国の典型的な中華料理店ではキムチが出されますがこの店ではありませんでした。

I ate fried dumplings without any mistake.
今回は間違いなく揚げ餃子をいただきました。

Finally fried rice came. It's a typical Korean style served with black bean sauce on rice.
最後に焼き飯が出ました。黒あんが添えている典型的な韓国風です。

The opposite and across the street, there's a small Turkish restaurant. Not only kebabs and pizza, they also have demonstration sale of Turkish ice cream. When I ordered a vanilla ice cream, he made me a long ice cream stick. It was very good for refreshing my mouth.
道路を隔てて向かい側にはトルコ料理店があって、ケバブやピザのほかトルコ式アイスクリームも実演販売しています。早速バニラアイスを注文すると店員さんが長いアイスバーのように作ってくれました。お口直しにはとても良かったです。

Going back to Incheon Station and I took a taxi to the airport. I was noticed after a while which I had forgotten my Wi-fi in the restaurant. I want to pick them up, so I must turned back in a hurry. I was explained the situation to the staff who are at the entrance of the parking. When getting inside the restaurant, a lady kindly told me "You forgot this". I must say to a lady, "Thanks so much". 
After picking up my Wi-fi, I was only headed to the airport. It seems to be a heavy traffic until Incheon Grand Bridge, he took the best route to cross the long bridge. Finally we got into the Airport Expressway. I arrived at the airport at 3:30. I had already done a check-in, I was immediately going toward the boarding gate after taking a security procedure and finished the immigration.
仁川駅まで戻ってタクシーで空港へ。しばらくして気付いたのがWi-fiをレストランに忘れてしまっていたこと。慌ててレストランまで引き返して入り口の駐車場にいる職員に事情を説明し中に入ると店員さんが「これ忘れているよ」と一言声をかけてくださって本当に助かりました。無事Wi-fiを引き取り後は空港へ向かうだけ。途中仁川大橋までが混雑していたのですばやく迂回路で出てもらい、長い橋を渡って空港高速に入り午後3時30分ごろ空港へ到着。すでにチェックイン済みなのですぐに保安検査を受け出国審査を終えて搭乗ゲートのほうへ向かいました。

Amezing night view of Seoul from Namsan Park/南山公園からの素晴らしいソウルの夜景

My long holiday to Taiwan and Seoul will be end tomorrow. It can be say that it is a long trip, getting around only two countries in 10 days! I have to leave there on that evening, so I want to visit the Namsan Park for the memory of my trip. A 480 meter tall transmission tower called N Seoul Tower, a landmark of Seoul, is located in the park.
10日間の長い台湾＋ソウル旅行もいよいよ終わりが近付いてきました。明日は帰国日ということこともあって、最終日の夜は旅行の締めくくりとしてソウルのランドマーク的存在であるNソウルタワーがある南山公園へ。

The Namsan Cable Car took me to the peak. In the evening, you can enjoy the great night view of downtown Seoul.
南山ケーブルカーで頂上へ。夜にはソウル市内の素晴らしい夜景が楽しめます。

Getting off from a cable car and going up some stairs, there's the Namsan Park. Because of Sunday, the park was crowded with a lot of people.
ケーブルカーを降りて階段を上がるとそこが南山公園です。日曜日ということもあって園内はたくさんの人々で賑わっていました。

This time, taking pictures of Seoul CBD (see the photos) and the Gangnam district from the observatory without climb to the tower.
今回はタワーに上らず園内にある展望台からソウル市内の繁華街（写真）と江南地区を撮影。

Next I tried to take pictures of the Gangnam district from the observatory right next to the tower on the opposite side.
今度は反対側にあるタワー横の展望台から江南地区を撮影してみました。

I was taking pictures of great night views of Seoul CBD and the tower before going back to the cable car station.
ケーブルカーの駅へ戻る前に撮影したソウル繁華街とタワーの夜景です。

I went back to the cable car station at about 8:30. Just as before, it was also packed with many people so I was waiting for 30 minutes to go down. After getting down from the mountain, there was no taxi at all. There's no bus stops either. Therefore I must walk to around Myeong-dong to take a bus to Jongno. I was thinking that there's two way to go back my hotel at Gimpo Airport. The one is taking the subway line 5 from Gwanghwamun Station, and the another one is taking the No. 601 bus. The bus stop is nearby, so I had decided to take a bus to the hotel. The bus was coming after a while. It took me in about 40 minutes. Finally I came back to the hotel at 11 o'clock.
8時30分ごろケーブルカーの駅へ戻りました。行きと同じく乗り場がかなり混み合っていて、しばらく待された末30分ほどしてからようやく乗れました。下山後そこにはタクシーがまったくおらず、バス停も近くになかったため歩いて明洞あたりまで出てそこからバスで鐘路まで向かい、光化門駅まで歩いてから地下鉄5号線で金浦空港のロッテホテルに戻ろうとしたら601番バスがあることに気付き、悩んだ末に結局バスで戻ることに。しばらくしてからバスがやってきて40分ほどで無事ホテルへ戻ってこれました。時計の針を見るとすでに午後11時でした。

Day 9: Visiting to Bukcheon Hanok Village, Seoul/9日目：ソウルの北村韓屋村訪問記

After having a cafe break at Samcheong-dong, I went up the long stone stairs to go the Bukcheon Hanok Village, one of the most popular tourist spots in Seoul. This area is composed by the following districts, Wonso-dong,  Je-dong, Gahoe-dong and Insa-dong and is commonly called Bukcheon which means the upper town of both places, Cheonggyecheon and Jongno. Because it is located on the road between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces, this place used to be the residence of royal family and the upper classes, described as Yangbang (양방) in Korean. In the narrow alley, traditional Korean style houses closely lined up by age, from the old ones which were built in the late Chosun Dynasty to the bread new ones which were built recently.
三清洞のカフェでリラックスしたあと階段を昇って観光客に人気が高い北村韓屋村へ。苑西洞（ウォンソドン）、斎洞（チェドン）、嘉会洞（カフェドン）、仁寺洞（インサドン）で構成されたこの地域は清渓川と鐘路の上町内という意味で「北村」と呼ばれ、景福宮と昌徳宮の間の道に位置するため、権力を持つ家門や王族など両班（ヤンバン）といわれる上流階級の居住地でした。狭い路地には朝鮮時代末に建てられた伝統韓屋から最近立てられた真新しい韓屋まで、時代別の韓屋までぎっしりと建ち並びます。

Because I ate too much, suddenly I got a stomachache. I was so painful, therefore I should go toilet. But it was not easy to find. Finally I found the place where is in the cafe on the top of the villa.
ついつい食べ過ぎたせいか急にお腹が痛くなってしまい便所を探していたのですがなかなか見つからず、ようやく見つけたのはビラ屋上のカフェ。

From a balcony, you can see great views of the Hanok Village and the downtown Seoul.
そこのバルコニーから韓屋とソウル中心部が見渡せます。

Skylines of Seoul from a balcony: Prime Minister's official residence of the Blue House and skyscrapers on the right side, and the Hyundai Group headquarters building will be seen to the left side, and the Doosan Group head office building in the Gangnam District of Nonhyon-dong.
バルコニーからのソウル市街の眺めはこんな感じです。右手には青瓦台とビル群が、向かって左側には現代ビルや遠くには江南地区の論峴洞（ノンヒョンドン）にある斗山ビルが見えます。

Rows of Hanok houses on the both side of the long slopes in Gahoe-dong. The shooting date on April 26 was before the Mars epidemic spread in Korea, it was quite busy day so that there was coming a lot of Chinese tourists from China, Taiwan etc.
嘉会洞の長い坂道の両脇には伝統的家屋群がずらりと建ち並びます。撮影日（4月26日）はMARS（マーズ）が流行する前で中国や台湾など中華系の団体たちがたくさん来ていてとても賑やかでした。

The Jung-ang High School, a location of drama "Winter Sonata" which is the most popular Korean drama in Japan with the average audience rating of 20%. In front of the high school, there are two shops across the road to deal with the products of Korean wave, such as K-pop, Korean drama stars.   
ドラマ「冬のソナタ」の撮影地である中央高校前にはK-popや韓流スターたちの商品を売っているお店が道路を隔てて2軒あります。

I saw multi colored Korean style paper lanterns in front of the Hanok house while walking down to the Gyedong-gil Street.
桂洞（ゲェドン）を歩きながら下っている途中で韓屋の前に韓国式の色鮮やかな提灯が飾られているのを見ました。

After that I took a bus from the Hyundai Building to the Seoul Station. While searching on Google Maps, it seems to have a bus service to Namsan Seoul Tower from Seoul Square which is directly opposite the station. But I don't know where the bus stop is. I was thinking to take a taxi to there, so I had decided to go by taxi. I ask him to go to the tower, and he said "You should take a cable car from the cable car station". I'm heading to the cable car station then. It took me about 15 minutes to there.
I bought a ticket and went up the stairs to the platform. Because of Sunday, there ware packed with many tourists therefore I have to wait for a while. Finally I arrived at the tower at 7:15 pm.
その後大通りに面した現代ビル前からバスでソウル駅へ。Googleマップで検索すると向かい側のソウルスクエア前から南山ソウルタワー行きのバスが出ているようですがバス停が分からず、タクシーで行ったほうが早いだろうと思いタクシーに乗ることに。運転士さんが言うには「南山ケーブルカー駅まで行ってそこからケーブルカーに乗るほうが早い」とのことだったのでケーブルカーの駅へ。15分ほどで到着。チケットを買って階段を上がって乗り場へ。日曜日だったせいか乗り場がかなり混み合っていて、しばらく待った末に着いたのは日没前の午後7時15分ごろでした。

Eating in Seoul/ソウルでの食事

Here, I'll show you what did I ate for lunch in Seoul on April 26.
ここでは4月26日にソウル市内で食べた昼食をUPします。

After finishing the Deoksugung Palace tour, I was stopping at the Namdaemun Gate. I didn't have a lunch yet, so I was looking for something to eat. There's a bibimbap restaurant nearby, I had decided to take a late lunch there. 
徳寿宮観光を終え、南大門へ立ち寄ったあと腹が減っていたので近くにあるビビンバ専門店で遅い昼食を取りました。

I ordered bibimbap with a marinaded Korean beef on rice. Indeed there's a specialty store, they only use fresh vegetables and meats, and sticky rice etc. That's why it can be delicious.
韓牛ビビンバを注文しました。さすが専門店だけあって材料にかなりこだわっているせいか歯ごたえがあって美味しかったです。

I want to go to Bukchon Hanok Village where is the next destination by bus. But I don't know how to get there, so I had decided to go by taxi. Picking up a taxi in front of restaurant, I told him to go near the village. He said "You should get off at Samcheongdong and it's better to walk from there". Passing the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and turn to the Samcheong-ro Road right, a lot of cafes and boutiques are putting them together on both sides of the street. Here, it's no place to get off from a taxi, therefore I have to go until the Prime Minister's residence. From there, going back the well-developed sidewalk to the south at about 100m, you'll see some stone steps going up to the Hanok Village. Before that there's a fancy cafe that says "coffee and waffles", I tried to have a coffee break there.
その後バスで次の目的地である北村韓屋村に行きたかったのですがどれに乗ってよいか分からなかったので仕方なくタクシーで行くことに。タクシーの運転士さんが「三清洞（サムチョンドン）で降りて歩いて行ったほうがよい」とのこと。景福宮を過ぎて三清路を右に曲がるとたくさんのカフェやファッション店が道の両脇に軒を連ねています。ここにはタクシーから降れる場所がまったくないので国務総理官邸前まで行かなければなりません。そこから整備された歩道を約100mほど南へ戻っていくと韓屋村に上がる石段が数箇所あります。
その前に「コーヒーとワッフル」と書かれたお洒落なカフェがあるので早速入ってみることに。

Waffles. They serve just enough to eat them alone; with four waffles, two kinds of ice cream, four slices of orange and banana and 3 types of cream sauce. But I still have a strong appetite, I ate them up all!
In Korea, they still keep their own eating customs. It is basically one of the food that will be eaten separately for some. So that they can serve many foods as much as possible.
ここのワッフルは一人で食べきれないほど盛り付けていて、一皿にワッフル4つ、アイスクリーム２種類、オレンジとバナナが4切れ、クリームソースが3種類ありました。でも食い気旺盛で完食しました（笑）。
韓国では未だにひとつの食べ物を何人かで分けて食べるのが基本ででこのように多く盛り付けているのでしょう。

Now I've a really full stomach, I'm going to the Bukcheon Hanok Village on foot.
お腹いっぱいとなったところで一路北村韓屋村を目指して歩きます。
