Day 5:Revisiting to the Former British Consulate in Kaohsiung/5

In the morning, I visited to the Former British Consulate again. I've already visited there in the evening of the 3rd day, but I couldn't take some photos because there were fully packed with Chinese tourists on that day.
Wax dolls at the main entrance. They have reproduced the scene who run a trade with the Qing dynasty at that time.

When going up the stone stairs, you'll see the old consulate house of red brick in front of your eyes. Next to the old house, there is an open style cafe. I just ordered a rose flavored ice tea, and have a nice tea break there.

A post box. This is truly British, a red round shaped one putting a crown crest into the box.
Great views of the inner harbor from a viewpoint. You can see a 360 panorama of the port and the lighthouse just across to a small waterway.

West meets East: A Chinese pavilion right next to the entrance, and the former consulate is to the left forward.
I took the stairs going down to the ground. This is a very unique zigzag staircase like a maze.
There is a bus stop very close to the stairs, I looked up bus timetable for Lake Lotus where the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are located. The bus came quickly, so I took it to Lake Lotus.
