I finally got a picture of a Cathay Pacific A330 new livery!/ついにキャセイパシフィック航空のA330型機新塗装機を捕獲しました！

The best things to upload photo of the day: A Cathay Pacific Airbus a330-300 on flight CX511 to Hong Kong via Taipei was taking off at 10:28 am. The aircraft registration number B-HLM has been repainted a new corporate design at the end of last year, I guess. Recently, the number of new coating planes has been increased, and I got to see it at Fukuoka more often.

Well, the airline will be taken out of service from October 29. How many planes can I see then? I'll try to do that.
今朝は飛行機を見に行きました。キャセイパシフィック航空の台北経由香港行きCX511便が午前10時28分に離陸しました。機体番号はB-HLMで当機は昨年12月ごろに新塗装、いわゆる緑のキャセイに塗り替えています。このところだんだんと新塗装機が増えてきていて、福岡に来る日も多くなってきています。しかしキャセイは10月29日をもって見納めとなるのでそれまでに新塗装機を何機見ることができるでしようか。

A day at Saga Airport, part 2/佐賀空港での飛行機たち（その2）

After having lunch, I wanted to take a picture of Spring Airlines plane from Tokyo Narita, but it will be arrived at 3:35 pm due to bad weather conditions at Narita. I still have a plenty of time to do so, I went to the airport park nearby. I took a picture of the Air Nippon's YS-11 plane. The aircraft registration number JA8733 is not in use anymore since the fuselage was retired from the airline in August 1998.
昼食後成田発春秋航空便の撮影をしたかったのですが、成田での天候不良のため到着が午後3時35分になるとのこと。それまで時間がたっぷりあるのですぐ近くの空港公園へ。園内には佐賀空港開港時にエアーニッポンから寄与された国産機、YS-11型機が保存展示されています。

After that I was going back to the observation deck. Then an All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight from Tokyo Haneda was coming at about 3 pm.
その後再び展望デッキへ。そして3時ごろに羽田発全日空便が来ました。

The plane arrived at Gate 1.
飛行機は1番ゲートへスポットイン。

Finally a Spring Airlines Japan flight IJ701 from Tokyo Narita was touched down at 3:25 pm.
ようやく午後3時25分に成田からの春秋航空日本IJ701便が着陸。

After finishing my photo works, I went back to Saga city and keep taking pictures of the Saga Castle ruins and Kono Park Kakurintei tea house. Details will be posted soon.
撮影後は佐賀市内へ戻り佐賀城跡や神野公園隔林亭などの撮影をしました。詳細は後ほどUPする予定です。

A day at Fukuoka Airport on 24 August/8月24日福岡空港での飛行機たち

Yesterday I went to the airport to see planes takeoff and landing. I was there around 10 am until around 4:30 pm. I was very enjoyed to see many planes such as Cathay Pacific's One world livery came flying again in the morning, a Finnair flight to Helsinki left one day late, and it was the first time to see Philippine Air's A340-300s etc in the afternoon.
昨日は飛行機を見に行きました。朝10時ごろから昼4時半ごろまでいたのですが、午前中にはキャセイのワンワールド塗装機が2日続けて飛来したり、昼からはフィンエアーのヘルシンキ便が1日遅れで出発したことやフィリピン航空のA340-300型機が初飛来するなどとても収穫の多い一日でした。

At 10:48 am, a Cathay Pacific flight CX511 to Hong Kong via Taipei was taking off on Rwy 16. The flight of the day before yesterday was only going to Taipei because of typhoon in Hong Kong, so it's a rare pattern that the same plane will be flying for a couple of days.
午前10時48分にキャセイパシフィック航空の台北経由香港行きCX511便が滑走路16から離陸。おとといの便は香港の台風の影響で往復とも台北発着となったので同じ飛行機が2日続けて飛来するという珍しいパターンに。

At 12:11 pm, a Peach flight MM154 to Osaka Kansai was taking off on Rwy 16. The aircraft registration number is JA817P is a special livery in collaboration with Volkswagen, Germany's leading automobile manufacture.
午後12時11分にピーチの大阪関西行きMM154便が滑走路16から離陸。機体番号はJA817Pでドイツを代表する自動車メーカー、フォルクスワーゲンと提携した特別塗装機です。

At 1:06 pm, an All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight NH1081 to Okinawa Naha was taking off on Rwy 16. The aircraft registration number is JA604A is the second appearance of ANA's Star Wars jet in November 2015.
午後1時06分に全日空の沖縄那覇行きNH1081便が滑走路16から離陸。JA604Aの機体番号を持つ当機は2機目のスターウォーズプロジェクトジェットで2015年11月22日の伊丹発羽田行きNH14便から就航しています。

A Finnair flight AY076 to Helsinki was taking off at 1:44 pm. The outbound flight arrived in the morning of the day before yesterday wasn't able to go back on the flight of the day due to lack of cabin crew. They spent one night and finally took off at 1 pm. 
午後1時44分にフィンエアーのヘルシンキ行きAY076便が離陸。一昨日の朝に到着したAY075便が乗員不足のため当日の便で折り返せなかったので一夜を過ごし、ようやく午後1時に飛び立ちました。

A Philippine Airlines flight PR425 to Manila was taking off at 3:27 pm. Special upgrade the aircraft for flights of the day. They sent Airbus's four-engine large sized plane, A340-300s instead of the smaller A321s.
午後3時27分にフィリピン航空のマニラ行きPR425便が離陸。この日は突如の機材変更でいつものA321型機ではなくエアバス社の四発機であるA340-300型機で飛来していました。

 

Plane spotting at Fukuoka Airport on 23 August/8月23日福岡空港での飛行機たち

In the morning, I went to the airport to see planes takeoff and landing. Today was a strong typhoon named Hato which hit in Hong Kong so that all flights from Hong Kong and Macau greatly affected by severe weather; most of them were cancelled and some were made schedule changes.
今朝は飛行機を見に行きました。今日香港を直撃した台風13号の影響で香港やマカオからの便が運休およびスケジュール変更があったようです。

At 10:45 am, a Cathay Pacific flight CX511 to Taipei was taking off on Rwy 16. This flight usually goes to Hong Kong by way of Taipei. However, it was only going to Taipei because of the typhoon this morning. 
午前10時45分にキャセイパシフィック航空の台北行きCX511便が滑走路16から離陸。いつもだと台北を経由して香港へ行きますが、今朝は台風の影響で台北までの運航となっています。

At 11:17 am, an EVA Air flight BR106 from Taipei was taxiing after landing.
午前11時17分：エバー航空の台北発BR106便が着陸後タキシング中。

At 11:46 am, an Asiana Airlines flight OZ131 to Seoul was taking off on Rwy 16.
午前11時46分にアシアナ航空のソウル行きOZ131便が滑走路16から離陸。

They send to a Star Alliance livery B767s for the flight of the day instead of the usual B777s. Cathay Pacific also came to a One world livery A330s today, I was very lucky to see a different alliance livery.
この便はいつもだとB777型機で運航しているのですが、今朝は突如の機材変更でスターアライアンス塗装のB767型機で飛来しました。キャセイもワンワールド塗装のA330型機だったので異なるアライアンス塗装機が見れてとてもラッキーでした。

After that I saw two planes of the world, Finnair and Hong Kong Express. Both were stopped waiting for departure time. Details are as follows.
その後フィンエアーと香港エクスプレスの2機が出発せずに駐機していたのを見かけ、東平尾公園入口交差点付近の撮影スポットまで行ってみました。

A Nordic carrier stopped at FUK apron near Higashi Hirao Park Entrance intersection. The Helsinki flight will leave at 10 o'clock in the morning. But because of various reasons that will take off at 10 pm in 12 hours late.
国内線エプロンに駐機しているフィンエアー。朝10時発のヘルシンキ便が諸事情で12時間遅れの夜10時に飛び立つとのことで一時的に国内線側に移動していたようです。

A Hong Kong Express plane was parked at Gate 60 on the other side. The flight arrived last night seems to be waiting here for a while until the typhoon was gone.
向かい側の60番ゲートには香港エクスプレス機がスポットインしていました。昨夜到着した便が台風の影響で朝一番の便で折り返せなかったのでしばらくここで待機していたようです。

Saga Airport tour/佐賀空港ターミナルビル内を見学

I was strolling around the Saga Airport terminal building before taking pictures of a Spring Airlines plane from Tokyo Narita.

成田発春秋航空便撮影前に佐賀空港ターミナルビル内をウロウロしてみました。

The statue of Ebisu at the entrance and welcomes you aboard. There are about 800 statues in Saga City, the number is said to be the best in Japan.
入口には佐賀の恵比寿像があります。佐賀市内は約800体の恵比寿像があり、その数は日本一と言われています。

HSG check-in counter. It's simple compact and easy to understand each counter. T'way Airlines, Korea's budget airline, is in the foreground, Spring Airlines of China in the center picture, and All Nippon Airways (ANA) is in the background.
チェックインカウンターはコンパクトにまとめられていてすっきりとした印象があります。左から韓国のLCCティーウェイ航空、春秋航空、全日空（ANA）の順で並んでいます。

ANA check-in counter. The airline is operated on their Tokyo Haneda route to 5 flights per day.
全日空チェックインカウンター。羽田便を1日5便運航しています。

Spring Airlines check-in counter. A Shanghai-based low cost carrier offers the cheapest flight to their home, Shanghai. The lowest price is 999 yen one-way plus taxes, fees and surcharges. And its sister company Spring Airlines Japan also provides the cheapest domestic flight to Tokyo Narita. You can go to Tokyo only 737 yen one-way!

Shops are located on the second floor. Like other airport shops in Japan, there are full of souvenirs, sweets and local sake.
2階にある売店はお土産、お菓子、地酒など豊富に取り揃えています。

A view of the Saga plain from the observation deck. Large parking lots, one of the advantage of Saga Airport, is free.

An additional boarding gate will be available in the near future.

A day at Saga Airport, part 1/佐賀空港での飛行機たち（その1）

On August 19, I went to the Saga Airport to see planes takeoff and landing. In the morning, I was walking around Yanagimachi, Saga's historic district. After that I headed off to the airport. It takes about 30 minutes by car. 
先週の土曜日（19日）は佐賀空港へ飛行機を見に行きました。午前中に佐賀の歴史景観形成地区柳町かいわいを散策してから空港へ。車で約30分ほどです。

The time is already noon. A Spring Airlines flight to Shanghai will be leaving soon, so I immediately went to the sky deck on the top floor.
時間はすでに正午。春秋航空上海行きの出発時間が迫っていたので早速空港ビル最上階にある展望デッキへ。

When I arrived, a Spring Airlines plane was already stopped waiting.
着いたらすでに春秋航空機が停まっていました。

Next to a Chinese plane, there is an All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight NH 982 to Tokyo Haneda.
隣は全日空の羽田行きNH982便。

Two small planes of Asia lined up together. And an ANA flight to Haneda will be leaving soon.
2機並んでスポットイン。先発は全日空の羽田行き。

At 12:30 pm: The plane was pushback start and taxi.
飛行機は午後12時30分にプッシュバック開始。

The plane is now running on the runway and getting ready for takeoff.
飛行機は離陸に向けて滑走路を走行中。

The plane was taking off at 12:37 pm.
飛行機は午後12時37分に離陸。

Next I was uploading five pictures of Spring Airlines A320 pushback, taxi and takeoff. The plane was left at 12:46 pm, 9 minutes earlier than scheduled.
次に春秋航空のA320機のプッシュバックおよび離陸をUPします。飛行機は予定より9分早い午後12時46分に出発しました。

The plane was pushback start and taxi in 3 minutes.
飛行機は3分後にプッシュバック開始。

The plane was taking off at 12:55 pm.
飛行機は午後12時55分に離陸。

After finishing my photo works, I had a wonderful Saga beef steak set meal (2100 yen) for lunch at the airport view restaurant on the third floor. When eating, I put the Japanese white radish sauce on it. The taste is awesome!
昼食は3階にある展望レストランで佐賀牛のステーキセット（2100円）を注文。和牛に大根おろしのソースをかけていただきましたが、さっぱりして美味しかったです。

Then I wanted to take a picture of Spring Airlines plane from Tokyo Narita, but it will be delayed due to bad weather conditions at Narita. I've a time to do it, so I was strolling around the airport terminal building.
その後成田発春秋航空便の撮影をしたかったのですが成田での天候不良のため到着がかなり遅れるとのこと。それまで時間があるので空港ターミナルビル内をウロウロしてみました。
