Day 3: Visiting to Kaohsiung, part 1/3日目：高雄訪問記（その1）

I took a taxi from THSR Zuoying Station and am heading to my staying hotel, City Suites Kaohsiung. I asked a girl whether soon to be able to check-in. She said "It's possible to do that now". Then a middle-aged woman manager spoke me in Japanese. She's a very kind person, bring my heavy luggage into my room. She also gave me a bottle of well-chilled coke for free. I have to say her "Thanks for your help". Through there is no bidet in my room, but was satisfied with a city view veranda on the sea side.
高鉄左営駅からタクシーで宿泊地であるシティスイーツ高雄に向かい、到着後すぐにチェックインできるかどうか尋ねると可能だったのですぐにしました。そのとき中年女性の支配人さんが日本語で話しかけてきて、重たい荷物を部屋まで持ってきてくれてよく冷えたコーラのボトルをサービスとしてくださるなどとても親切な方でした。部屋にはビデがなかったのですが海側で市内が見渡せるベランダがあってそれなりに満足しました。

Taking a nap about 1 hour, I had decided to go to the Former British Consulate by taxi. This exotic red brick style building was built in 1865 during the Qing Dynasty era. I bought a ticket at a window, and went into the site. It was so crowded with Chinese tourists visiting there.
1時間ほどうたうた寝した後にタクシーで最初の目的地である英国領事館へ。清朝時代の1865年に建てられたエキゾチックな赤レンガの建物です。チケットを買って入ると大陸からの団体客でいっぱいでした。

When going up the stone stairs, you'll see the old consulate house of red brick in front of your eyes. The exhibition of historical relics are done on site.
石段を登りつめると目の前に赤レンガ調の旧領事館邸が見えてきて館内には歴史文物の展示がされています。

Next to the old house, there is an open style cafe. They have some flavor of teas and home-made sandwiches. I ordered iced rose tea and sandwich. Honestly, I tried a new taste of tea first time. I really love it. It's a great place where you can enjoy looking at the panorama of Kaohsiung Port.
隣のカフェではいろんな種類の紅茶や手作りのサンドイッチなどがあって高雄港のパノラマを見ながら楽しむことができる絶好の場所です。

After that, I walked a little and cross the arched bridge. Right next to the bridge, there is the Gushanlundu ferry terminal. Ferry services to Qijin is quite convenient, it is operated every 15 minutes.
その後少し歩いてアーチ型の景観橋を渡りすぐ隣の鼓山輪渡站（ぐーしゃんるんどぅ）からフェリーで対岸の旗津（チイジン）へ。運航間隔はおよそ15分ごとなのでとても便利です。

The ferry arrives at Qijinlundu Station. What did I do first? I visited the nearby Tin Hau Temple. Then I walked up to the Qijin Coast Park. There is a busy street market on the way. A lot of seafood shops and restaurants are putting them together on both sides of the street, it's a taste of an old fashioned. 
旗津輪渡站に着いてからまず最初に近くの天后宮を訪れてから歩いて旗津海岸公園まで。途中には賑やかな通り市場があって、たくさんの海産物店やシーフードレストランなどが道の両脇に軒を連ね、昔ながらの風情を醸し出しています。

Having a little relax time here, I walked to a ferry terminal again. After going back to Gushan, I was so hungry. I want to eat something, so am just looking around there. I found a Chinese restaurant in the boulevard, I ordered fried rice and dumplings. Then I want to see great night views of the city from Sushan LOVE Lover's Observatory. There's no bus services from here, so I took a taxi from the nearby Sizihwan Metro Station.
少しだけ休みながら歩いてフェリーターミナルへ戻りました。鼓山到着後お腹がすいたので何か食べたいものの店がないかどうか探していると大通りに中華料理店があったので焼き飯と焼き餃子を注文。その後すばらしい夜景を見に寿山LOVE情人観景台へ行きたくてそこからだとバスの便がないので近くの地下鉄西子湾駅からタクシーで向かいました。
