Driving on National Route 220 from Aoshima and passing some gentle curves, you will get to Horikiri Pass. From the pass, you can see the magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. The coast spreading below is composed of Oni-no-Sentakuiwa, wavy rocks with stripe patterns formed by sea erosion.
