Day tripping to Yobuko (Part 1)

On 7 January, we were decided to take a drive to Yobuko. Yobuko is famed for its fresh squid, ika (烏賊, いか) in Japanese, which is offered sashimi style, or it can be eaten while the squid is still alive. Yobuko also attracts local tourists, who come to see the Yobuko Bridge (呼子大橋).

First, we went to Asaichi-dori shopping street near the fishing port. However, most shops were already closed after the noon.

We were dropped into dried squid and fish shop nearby. My mother bought four dried mackerels.
