I went to Danshui by Taipei Metro in the evening.
夕方に淡水（たんすい）まで台北捷運（地下鉄）で行きました。

Planes used on Asiana Airlines Seoul Incheon - Fukuoka route/アシアナ航空ソウル仁川ー福岡線の使用機材

Today I introduce you planes that are used on Asiana Airlines Seoul Incheon - Fukuoka route.  Asiana Airlines, Korea's second largest airline after Korean Air, operates on their Fukuoka route 3 times per day. However, transit in Seoul is a little inconvenient in compare with Korean Air, especially if you're going to Europe. Presently, OZ131/132 morning flights are operated by A330-300s and B777-200ERs, OZ133/134 afternoon flights are mainly A321s, and OZ135/136 evening flights are subject to change without any notice. These flights are used by various fleets, mainly A321s; A330-300s and B777-200ERs for the busiest season.

今日はアシアナ航空のソウル仁川ー福岡線の機材について紹介します。韓国で大韓航空についで航空業界第2位を誇るアシアナ航空は福岡線を1日3便運航しています。しかしソウルでの乗り継ぎは大韓航空に比べてやや不便です（特にヨーロッパ方面）。現在OZ131/132午前便はA330-300機およびB777-200ER機で、OZ133/134午後便は主にA321機でOZ135/136夕刻便だと機材変更がしばしば行われます。それらの便は主にA321機で繫忙期にはA330-300および B777-200ERの機材を運用しています。

A320s are still used on their Jeju - Fukuoka route.

B767-300s were mainly used on OZ131/132 flights until March 2006. She is still flying to Fukuoka sometimes, especially on the off-peak season.
B767-300機は2006年3月まで主にOZ131/132便で使用されていた。今でも閑散期にときどき福岡に飛んでくる。

Planes used on Korean Air Seoul Incheon - Fukuoka route/大韓航空ソウル仁川ー福岡線の使用機材

Korean Air operates on their Seoul Incheon - Fukuoka route 3 times per day. You can choose flights from your convenience. For example, if you're going to Europe, you'll take KE788 morning flight, to North America and Oceania, will take KE790 afternoon flight. Presently, KE787/788 flights are mainly operated by A330-300s, KE789/790 flights are mainly B737-800/900s, and KE781/782 evening flights are subject to change without any notice. These flights are used by various fleets, A330-200/300s, B777-200/300s and B737-800/900s.

大韓航空はソウル仁川ー福岡線を1日3便運航していて、利便性によってフライトが選択可能です。例えばヨーロッパ方面に行く場合KE788午前便利用、北米やオセアニア方面だとKE790午後便利用となります。現在KE787/788便は主にA330-300機で、KE789/790便は主にB737-800/900機でKE781/782夕刻便だと機材変更がしばしば行われます。それらの便はA330-200/300, B777-200/300, B737-800/900の機材を運用しています。

Ohana (御花), Yanagawa, Fukuoka

Akitora, the fourth lord of the clan, built this residence (Shukei-tei) in 1697 as a place of relaxation on this land covering an area of approx. 23,000 square meters, all sides of which are surrounded by moats. As the name of this district was “Hanabatake (Flower Garden)”, this residence has been called “Ohana (Flower)” by people of Yanagawa.

Singapore Airlines increase Fukuoka flights

Singapore Airlines announced an increase in the number of flights on their Fukuoka~Singapore route. From 28 May, the airline will increase their current 5 flights per week on the route to 1 flight per day.

Delta Airlines has a daily flight to Fukuoka from Hawaii/デルタ航空のハワイー福岡線

From 28 December 2011, Delta Airlines fly to Fukuoka from Hawaii daily. This route was formerly operated by Japan Airlines until October 2005. It takes approximately 10 hours, and using Boeing 767-300 aircraft. Additionally, from 17 April 2012, Hawaiian Airlines also fly to the same route./2011年12月28日からデルタ航空のハワイー福岡線を運航開始しました。本路線は日本航空が2005年10月まで運航していました。飛行時間はおよそ10時間、使用機材はB767-300です。さらに2012年4月17日にはハワイアン航空も同路線を運航開始しました。

Flight experience: Boarding Thai Airways between Fukuoka, Bangkok and Singapore in August 2006/2006年8月タイ国際航空福岡、バンコク、シンガポール間搭乗記

I took between Fukuoka-Bangkok-Singapore in August 2006. Boarding flights are as follows:
2006年8月福岡ーバンコクーシンガポールで利用しました。搭乗した便は次の通りです。

• 18 August/8月18日: TG401 BKK - SIN
• 20 August/8月20日: TG410 SIN - BKK

==In-flight/機内==
All flights were fully booked. At that time, there's no personal monitor for economy class. Food is so-so. There is a Japanese food on Fukuoka route. I ate Chicken Teriyaki assorted with rice outward journey and grilled salmon with rice return. Crews are very friendly. They welcome to wai, a traditional greeting of Thailand when boarding. It seems to have turned off the audio power on return flight from Bangkok, so I ask a young Stewart. He turned on it immediately.
搭乗した便すべて満席でした。その当時エコノミークラスには個人テレビがありませんでした。食事はまあまあで福岡便には和食もあったので行きは照り焼きチキンのご飯和え、帰りは鮭の焼き魚のご飯和えにしました。乗務員の方々はとても親切でした。搭乗すると伝統的なあいさつであるワイで迎えてくれます。バンコクからの帰国便でオーディオの電源が入っていなかったのでたまたま側を通った若い男性乗務員にお願いするとすぐにつけてくれました。

==Check-in/チェックイン==
At Fukuoka Airport, all check-in procedure is done at Japan Airlines (JAL) counter. JAL staff is very kind and polite. I was so impressed that the attentive "Japanese-style" service when check-in is done at a business class counter. A ground staff at Bangkok was no kind, but was so friendly at Singapore. She told me "Thank you" in Japanese! I still remember this person.
福岡空港でのチェックイン手続きはJALカウンターにて行います。JALスタッフは親切丁寧でそのときはビジネスクラスカウンターでチェックインしてもらいさすが日本的なきめ細やかなサービスだなと感心しました。バンコクの地上職員は不親切でしたがシンガポールではとても親切な対応でした。その女性の方はとても親切で日本語で”ありがとう”と言ってくれました。今でも心に残っています。

==Frequent flyer programs/マイル==
Thai Airways has its own frequent flyer program, Royal Orchid Plus. Since the airline is a member of Star Alliance, it can also be added to frequent flyer programs of each member. I have a Kris flyer, and joined this program in May 2006. Why did I join the Kris flyer? Because I want to earn miles for this flight.
タイ国際航空は独自のマイレージプログラムであるロイヤルオーキッドプラスがありますが同社はスターアライアンスメンバーなので加盟各社マイレージプログラムでの相互加算も可能です。僕は2006年5月クリスフライヤーに入会し持っています。なぜクリスフライヤーに入会したのかというとこのフライトのマイルを加算したかったからです。

Thai Airways Fukuoka route/タイ国際航空福岡便

Thai Airways International operates between Bangkok and Fukuoka daily. Although Thai Airways is a Star Alliance member, this route is code-share with One world member Japan Airlines (JAL).

タイ国際航空はバンコクー福岡間毎日運航しています。タイ国際航空は全日空などが加盟しているスターアライアンスメンバーですがこの便はワンワールドメンバーである日本航空(JAL)との共同運航になっています。

• Fleet/運航機材

From 25 October 2009, this route is operated by A330-300. Before that, it was operated by A300-600.  In the cabin, it has an AVOD entertainment system, you'll enjoy many films, music etc. anytime.

2009年10月25日から本路線はA330-300機で運航しています。それまではA300-600機で運航していました。機内にはオンデマンドのAVシステムがあって数多くの映画や音楽などがいつでも楽しめます。

Planes used on Cathay Pacific Fukuoka route/キャセイパシフィック航空福岡線の使用機材

Today, I introduce you planes that are used on Cathay Pacific Fukuoka route. Presently, Cathay Pacific fly two flights to Fukuoka daily, the former is CX510/511 flights via Taipei and the latter is KA380/381 non-stop flights, operated by Dragon Air, a subsidiary company of Cathay Pacific. The features of each flights are as follows:

• CX510/511: Passengers allowed to stop over at Taipei, so you can go sightseeing in the city. In the cabin, it has an AVOD entertainment system, called "Studio CX", you'll enjoy many films, music etc. anytime. However, it takes much longer than KA380/381 non-stop flights because of indirect flights.
• KA380/381: It's more faster and convenient than the above-mentioned CX510/511 indirect flights when you fly to North America, Europe, Oceania etc. However, it has no entertainment system because this flight is operated by A320s basically.

今日はキャセイパシフィック航空の福岡線の使用機材について紹介します。現在同社の福岡線は毎日2便運航していて、前者はCX510/511便の台北経由で後者は子会社香港ドラゴン航空が運航しているKA380/381直行便です。各便の特徴は次のとおりです。

• CX510/511便:台北での途中降機（ストップオーバー）が可能なので市内観光にも行けます。機内には「Studio CX」と呼ばれるオンデマンドのAVシステムがあって数多くの映画や音楽などがいつでも楽しめます。しかし経由便のためKA380/381便の直行便より多少時間がかかります。
• KA380/381便:直行便のため前記のCX510/511経由便より速くて北米・欧州・オセアニア方面などに行くときは便利です。しかし同便は基本的にA320で運航しているため機内エンターテインメントがありません。

CX510/511 are used by various fleets, A330s/340s and B777s. Recently, B777-300 regional type (not ER) is often used.

KA380/381 are mainly used by A320s. However, an increased number of tourists from Hong Kong and abroad, these days A330-300s are in service frequently. In this case, it has an AVOD in-flight entertainment system, called "Studio KA", you'll enjoy many films, music etc. anytime.
KA380/381便は主にA320機を運用していますが香港や第三国から訪れる観光客の増加で最近ではA330-300機が入る日が多くなってきています。この場合機内には「Studio KA」と呼ばれるオンデマンドのAVシステムがあって数多くの映画や音楽などがいつでも楽しめます。

Arita Porcelain Park (有田ポーセリンパーク) on 09 April 2011

After leaving Ureshino, we went to Arita Porcelain Park, a small theme park located in Arita town, Saga Prefecture, Japan. The Porcelain Park is a recreation of a traditional German village, and is located just on the outskirts of Arita on the road to Hasami. Most stunning is the reproduction of the “Zwinger,” a famous palace in the German city of Dresden. Inside the palace are impressive permanent exhibition of both European porcelain in one wing and Arita-yaki in the other.

Behind the palace lies a European style garden. There is also a large ancient kiln which can be visited. The theme park also houses various stores selling both traditional Japanese and European-style products.

Travel to Taiwan for 7 days in April 2007 (Part 1)/2007年4月台湾7日間旅行（その1）

I went to Taipei, Danshui in New Taiwan City and Kaosiung. This time I flew by Korean Air via Seoul, not direct flights from Fukuoka. I took a brand-new high-speed train between Taipei and Kaosiung./台北、新北市（しんほくし）の淡水（たんすい）、高雄（かおしゅん）に行きました。今回は福岡からの直行便ではなくソウル経由の大韓航空を利用しました。台北ー高雄間は真新しい高速列車に乗りました。

• First, I flew KE782 (9pm) to Seoul. I spent 2 nights there, then I flew KE691 (9:30am) to Taipei./最初にKE782便（午後9時発）でソウルに向かいました。現地で2泊しKE691便（午前9:30発）で台北に向かいました。

I ate Yuko Oshima's favourite dish at AKB48 Cafe & Shop Hakata

After praying at Hakozaki Shrine, I got a hungry. So I had a lunch at AKB48 Cafe & Shop at Daimyo. I ate Yuko-san's favourite dish "Avocado cheese cream pasta" (アボカドチーズクリームパスタ; 1000yen). It was so creamy, mild and delicious. Until then I ate pasta not often, but now I love it!

Hakozaki Shrine (筥崎八幡宮)

Yesterday, after plane spotting, I went to Hakozaki Shrine to pray for my new year's wish. I saw many young people wore kimono because today, on 14 January, is Coming of Age Day, a public holiday held on the second Monday of every January.

I wrote both my new year's wish and a thank you message for Yuko Oshima. Yuko-san came this shrine for shooting archery tournament on 15 July last year.

Cape Hado (波戸岬)

Finally, we went to Cape Hado, the most northwestern end on Higashimatsuura peninsula.

=Summary=
It is in the most northwestern end on Higashimatsuura peninsula. It was in Genkai quasi national park, Genkai marine park and it was chosen as the Nagisa 100 election in Japan. There are an underwater observation tower, a beach and a campsite and so on. The dusk is a recommendation. The pot burning by the turban shell is a specialty. There are a lot of shops.

Day tripping to Yobuko (Part 3)

After leaving Yobuko Bridge, we were visited to Hizen Nagoya Castle.

Day tripping to Yobuko (Part 2)

After leaving Asaichi-dori shopping street, we went to Kaze-no-mieru-oka Park (風の見える丘公園) to take Yobuko Bridge panorama.

=Summary=
The Yobuko Bridge (呼子大橋, Yobuko Ō-hashi) is a cable-stayed bridge in Saga Prefecture, Japan. It connects the islands of Kabe (加部島 Kabe-shima) and Kyūshū. Completed in 1989, it has a main span of 250 meters and total length of 727.8 m.
