Colorful lantarns in Nagasaki Chinatown

In the evening we went to Nagasaki Chinatown. As usual, we bought some "Cock" Chinese New year goods at Min-min boutique shop there.

The distance between Hara Castle and Nagasaki is so far, it takes about 2 hours via national highway.
We took a coastal drive through the western part of the Shimabara Peninsula. We saw the Futago-iwa (両子岩) big twin rocks on the way. They look like the Moai statue that somebody knows the moai images standing in the sea. After passing through Obama hot springs, we could see the beautiful sandy beach called Chijiiwa Beach. Finally we arrived safely to Nagasaki at 5 o'clock.

We stopped our car in the parking lot located opposite the Minato Park. Minato Park is the venue of the Nagasaki Lantern Festival which is held in Chinese New Year every February. This day was one week before the Chinese New Year's Day off, that's why they already set up stage decorations in the park.
