Shiiba is a village in the northwest Miyazaki Prefecture, with a population of 2,993 as of July 2012. It is very mountainous.
Tsurutomi Traditional House (鶴富屋敷 Tsurutomi-yashiki; officially called 那須家住宅 Nasu-ke-Jutaku): At the mansion which was made Nasu Daihachiro's love stage with Tsurutomi Hime, the edge is the house of some form at the one side which is peculiar to Shiiba. It is supposed to have been built approximately 300 years before. It is an important cultural asset in the country.
