Views from Takezaki Castle fort observatory, Tara, Saga

After visiting Kaichu Torii, we went to a nearby spot, Takezaki Castle fort observatory🏯 The castle was built by Arima Takayasu in 1378 on the Takezaki Island, in Ariake Sea. Later, at the end of the Sengoku period, it was restored by Ryuzoji Ietane, the son of Takanobu and demolished after the Shimabara Rebellion.

We parked a car in the first parking lot in front of fort observatory🚙 and go up the stairs to the castle.

The North-East area. If you turn a little further to the right, you'll see Green Land🎡, an amusement park in Arao, Kumamoto Prefecture🐻

I tried to take a close-up picture of Mount Unzen⛰

The South-East area. The Ariake area of Shimabara city can be seen on the left side.

   

Visiting Kaichu Torii (海中鳥居) in Tara, Saga

Last Thursday we had decided to take a drive🚙 to Taigyo Jinja (大魚神社)⛩ in Tara, Saga. The shrine is famous for its torii gates stand on the Ariake sea. The floating torii of Shinto shrine was built over 300 years ago, around 1693, and is currently being rebuilt every 30 years😀

When we came here, it is just like that. The red torii gates on sea weren't sinking in yet😢 

Okay you can still go to the second one, but be careful when you cross the path😇

Plane spotting at Fukuoka Airport on December 13, 2022/2022年12月13日福岡空港の飛行機たち

Today I went to the airport in the afternoon. I only stayed for half minutes, but I was lucky to see Thai Airways Boeing 777-200er. She came to a regular flight of TG/THA648 from Bangkok. I also got a picture of the JAL Dream Express Disney🐭 100 of Japan Airlines that began operating from last Tuesday.

今日の午後は飛行機を見に行きました。午後1時半過ぎから30分ほどしかいなかったのですが、タイ国際航空のバンコク行きTG648/649便がボーイング777-200erで飛来してくる情報をネットで知ったので昼1時ごろに家を出て早速空港へ。さらに今月6日から運航開始したJALの「JALドリームエクスプレスディズニー100」も飛来していました😁

At 1:56 pm, An All Nippon Airways flight NH1207 to Okinawa Naha was taking off on Rwy 34. 

午後1時56分に全日空の沖縄那覇行きNH1207便が滑走路34から離陸。

A Korean Air flight KE746 to Seoul was taking off in 6 minutes. 

6分後に大韓航空のソウル仁川行きKE746便が離陸。

At 2:10 pm, a Thai Airways flight TG649 to Bangkok was waiting for takeoff. This flight is usually operated by Airbus a330s, but they sent Boeing 777s for a limited time only until the end of the month😀

午後2時10分：離陸待ちのタイ国際航空TG649便バンコク行き。機体番号はHS-TJTでした。同社の福岡便は冬スケジュールから運航再開。通常だとエアバスa330-300型機が入りますが、タイから九州への観光客増加で今月末までB777-200型機に変更しています。

Then I went back to the usual spot on the end of Rwy 34. I was keep going to take pictures of planes takeoff and landing until 5 o'clock.

Plane spotting at Fukuoka Airport on December 10, 2022, part 1/2022年12月10日福岡空港の飛行機たち（その１）

Yesterday I went to the airport to see planes takeoff and landing. I was lucky to see the Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300er. She came to a regular flight of CX/CPA588 from Hong Kong. We can't usually see this plane because she'll going to Tokyo and Osaka on a daily basis.

昨日（10日）は飛行機を見に行きました。キャセイパシフィック航空のCX588/589便が15日までの期間限定でボーイング777-300er型機で飛来してくるのをネットで知ったので、昼1時ごろに家を出て早速空港へ。キャセイの福岡便は今月1日から旅客便の運航を再開していますが、15日まではボーイング777-300er型機で運航とのこと。CXの77WはこれまでCX510/511便でしばしばFUKに来たことがあります。ただスケジュールが夜遅く着いて翌朝飛び立つパターンだったので昼間撮影できたのは初めてです😊

A Cathay Pacific flight CX588 from Hong Kong was coming around 3 o'clock🛬The aircraft registration number B-KPW was used for flight of the day.

3時ごろキャセイパシフィック航空の香港発CX588便が着陸。機体番号はB-KPWでした。

Plane spotting at Fukuoka Airport on December 6, 2022, part 2/2022年12月6日福岡空港での飛行機たち（その２）

I want to keep uploading my taking pictures of planes at Fukuoka Airport🛫

福岡空港で撮影した飛行機の写真を引き続きUPしていきたいと思います。

At 5:01 pm, an All Nippon Airways flight NH257 from Tokyo Haneda was landing. The aircraft registration number is JA745A is a special livery which is collaborated with Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃), a Japanese manga series. It's a lovely plane, drawing with all characters of the anime in a white blue color scheme. 

午後5時01分に全日空の東京羽田発NH257便が着陸。機体番号はJA745Aでした。当機はアニメ鬼滅の刃シリーズとコラボ企画の第3弾で「鬼滅の刃じぇっとー参ー」としてラッピングを施され、10月2日より就航しています。

A Cathay Pacific plane was coming in a few minutes. This is a flight CX589 to Hong Kong. 

数分後にキャセイパシフィック航空のCX589便香港行きが離陸に向けて滑走路を走行しているのを見かけました。

The plane✈ was taking off after seven minutes.

飛行機は✈7分後に離陸。

Plane spotting at Fukuoka Airport on December 6, 2022, part 1/2022年12月6日福岡空港での飛行機たち(その1)

Yesterday I went to the airport to see planes takeoff and landing. I was lucky to see the Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300er. Cathay Pacific, the flag carrier of Hong Kong, have already resume their passenger flights from last Thursday. In addition, there are some taking airplane photos such as a Thai Airways flight that come back in two years and half😁   

昨日（6日）は飛行機を見に行きました。この日は今月1日からキャセイパシフィック航空のCX588/589便がB777-300erで飛来してくる情報をネットで知ったので、正午過ぎに家を出て早速空港へ🚲ほかにも10月30日から運航を再開したタイ国際航空のTG649便や全日空の「鬼滅の刃じぇっと -参-」も飛来していました😁

At 2:17 pm, a Thai Airways flight TG649 to Bangkok was taking off on Rwy 34. The airline decided to resume a flight to Fukuoka seven days a week from October 30😀

午後2時17分にタイ国際航空のバンコク行きTG649便が離陸。10月30日から1日1便で運航再開しています。

At 2:46 pm, a Starlux Airlines flight JX841 to Taipei was waiting for takeoff. 

午後2時46分：離陸待ちのスターラックス航空JX841便台北行き。

There are many flights at this time, so it must be waiting for a minutes to take off.

この時間帯は到着便が多いせいか離陸するまで時間がかかりました😠

An All Nippon Airways (ANA) plane was coming in a few minutes. This is a flight number NH256 to Tokyo Haneda. The aircraft number JA752A was used for flight of the day. This is a fleet of ANA's Boeing 777-300 (B7) series used for domestic flights. She was taking a rest at Haneda Airport one year due to the United Airlines engine failure in last February, but returned to service from September after repair and maintenance😄

数分後に全日空の東京羽田行きNH256便東京羽田行きが離陸に向けて滑走路を走行しているのを見かけました。機体番号はJA752Aでした。当機は昨年2月のユナイテッド航空エンジン事故による運航停止処分で長らく羽田で駐機していましたが、エンジン改修整備を終え今年9月から国内線に復帰しています。

A Cathay Pacific flight CX588 from Hong Kong was landing at 3:16 pm. 

午後3時16分にキャセイパシフィック航空の香港発CX588便が着陸。

I met a cute cat at Kareigawa train station

In the afternoon, we had decided to take a drive🚙 to Kareigawa (嘉例川) railway station on Hisatsu Line in Kirishima, Kagoshima. The station was built in 1903 when the old Kagoshima Main Line was opened. 

Look at the picture. It looks like an ordinally station, but why I want to go there❓ Because I want to see a pretty station cat called for San-chan (さんちゃん)🐈 She came to the office after Nyantaro (にゃん太郎), the first station master, was passed away two years ago😿    

Unfortunately, San-chan wasn't at the cathouse😥When I went outside, I saw her sleeping at the bus stop🚏😃

After that I went into the station🚉 I didn't see anyone because there were no trains at that time😑

Meeting the Totoro statue in Takaharu, Miyazaki

On the second day, we went to some sightseeing spots such as Kareigawa Station in Kagoshima. 

First we went to the Totoro statue in Takaharu. Takaharu is a beautiful town located in the eastern foot of Mount Kirishima. 

Driving on National Highways 10 and 268, Miyazaki Prefectural Route 29 and passing through the town center, we came to the statue🗽

This statue of Totoro was made by a couple who turned 70 as a present for their grandchildren and children in commemoration of their 70th birthday. It was made with cement using the technique of 50 years of experience as a plasterer. Due to its high degree of perfection, it was introduced on news sites not only in Japan🗾 but around the world🗺😁

Tips when going to the Totoro statue in Takaharu town:

The statue is now a hotspot on social media📱 e.g. Instagram, but it's actually on the premises of the house🏡 I wish you don't shout all the time. And no trespassing at night🌙🙆
